Yes Goodthought4,
Our final exams are from 2nd april, and for those who haven't been placed yet, the process will continue till our convocation. But, almost 70-75% students have been placed, and some interviews are still in process, so probably 85-90% of placements will be over before completion of the exams. 😃

Yesterday was the last day of our college life.....
Miss u FIIB

good evening all,
i guess its a little late to say good evening but well it takes time for things to sink in. I've just completed my 1st year at FIIB. And it has been nothing short of an EPIC experience. The past one year has been full of learning not only about ourselves but also about ourselves.time has , I mean it seems like yesterday that I was sitting in class for the 1st time, and in what seems to be in a blink of the eye, its over. a year full of new beginnings has come to an end but only to make way for a better tomorrow.
Looking forward to Year 2 @FIIB. Can barely wait.

Okay made a lot of errors in the post. My apologies.

My journey at FIIB started from June 2010. As would be MBA student I pondered what change FIIB will bring in me as a person after I complete my 2 years of MBA. I knew I would come across lectures, management jargons, presentations etc. But apart from all this what is that little extra will I learn at FIIB that would hone my skills and explore my potential. Until one day, the management selected me to be the part of FIIB Leadership Program (FLP). FLP is a unique program @FIIB, where I had some goals to set and achieve for myself as well as the institute. And one such goal mentioned was to lead a club @FIIB. And thats how I got a chance to serve as the Co-Head of UDAAN, the entrepreneurship cell @FIIB. Working and serving as the Co head of UDAAN has been a great experience that I will cherish and remember all through my life. At Udaan, I also got an opportunity to apply my skills and management learning imbibed during the course of FLP.

Spearheading Meraki- Pan India Business Plan Competition, conducted by UDAAN was a high point for me as the Co-Head of Udaan. Meraki 2012 was also a challenge as it was being organized for the very first time. We started its planning from the very scratch, lots of thinking, brain storming, thoughts and resources went into making this event one of its kind, Meraki received approx. 100 entries from the top-notch B-Schools like the IIMs, IITs, IIFT, FMS, NITIE to name a few. Finally Meraki 2012 was successfully conducted on 2nd March, 2012.

Today as I write this note, I am proud of my E-Club ,Udaan and if I were to quote in the words of our Chairman Mr. Manish Kheterpal May the next Apple, Google, Makemytrip be founded on UDAAN's platform.

As I prepare to venture in a new life few days from now, I realize. I am an enriched individual with lots to cherish from the experiences and learning at FIIB.

A few glimpses of the student activities in the year 2011-12 - Glimpses of the Student Activities in the Year 2011-12 | Facebook

In an emotionally charged ceremony, Batch 2011-13 bid farewell to their seniors (Batch 2010-12). A traditional ceremony of handing over the flame was held in which the new Student Council Members committed to carrying forward the mission of the FIIB Student Clubs.
The Best Student Club for the Year 2011-12 was Jaagriti -The Sustainability Club on Campus for its distinguished work in the field social responsibility. During the past year, the Club organized many socially relevant campaigns (blood donation, tree planting, no smoking, fun raisers, etc.) in addition to raising awareness about sustainability issues on campus. The E-Cell of FIIB -Udaan was recognized with a Special Award for its outstanding activities in the promotion of entrepreneurship at FIIB. Their annual event, a pan-India Business Plan competition, Meraki was a huge success this year (refer to earlier posts on this).

At FIIB we send resumes of all interested students to the recruiters against their job descriptions. However, sometimes recruiters prefer to shortlist students above 50% in all key academic stages (10th and 12th Standard, and Graduation). They also typically go for students who have a above 6.0 GPA in their MBA program. This shortlisting is done from their end, and not by the FIIBs Career Management Cell. In cases when the students' MBA performance is commendable (above a 7.0 in GPA and co-curricular experience), we have seen recruiters be relaxed about the 50% pre-MBA requirements. Hope this answers your queries. Please feel to call 4728 5048 and speak to a Admissions Counselor in case you have any additional questions.

When I joined FIIB, I had little idea how my decision to join FIIB will make a difference in my career as well as my life. I was confused whether my decision to join FIIB was wise or not? I thought Why not to make the most out of my decision rather thinking about the thoughtfulness and consequences of it. And believe me it was all fun, learning and exciting experience during my two years stay at FIIB. Within few days of joining, I understood that I was at the right place and Life was much more than attending classes, guest lectures, doing assignments, making presentations, submitting end term projects and taking quizzes.
After few months of my joining I was selected for the Fortune Leadership Program (FLP) where I was exposed to new challenges that helped hone my skills to a greater extent. The multitude of these challenges could be understood from the very fact that it included all skills development modules that made me a totally changed person in terms thinking, logical & analytical reasoning, communication, attitude, communication and leadership. FLP to a greater extent helped me bridging the skill gap that existed between the course curricula and current industry needs. FLP helped me sort out my strengths and weaknesses and I extensibly worked on to improve my weaknesses and capitalize on my strengths. The fact that FLP helped me can be substantiated by the very fact that I was selected by Safexpress in my very first job interview as an Operations Executive. I then realized what difference FIIB has actually brought in my life. Thank you FIIB. And now I can proudly say I am a FIIBian

I have 60+ in grad... i was just asking....
