But t prob is tat im currently working from UK.. So if ican have an idea about how long will the interview and GD take. Lik Does it get over in 1 Day or extends to 2 days.....

As my two year stint at GIM comes to an end.. I cant help but think of the time when I had started this thread .. sitting in the computer lab of GIM.... The thread will go from strength to strength .. Its time for me to move on ...
I am placed at Infosys Hyderabad as an associate consultant- enterprise solutions...
I came to GIM with 5 years of work ex behind me ..al skeptical..abt where will I go .. what GIM held for me ..
But at the end of all this .. I am more than satisified... GIM is the best place to be to do an MBA ... I had written something for the yearbook .. thought of sharing it with you guys ..

as we started for our summers to different cities....as we reached home aftr the term 3 xams.....in fact...as soon as we started frm college to head to different destinations..... we started missing it...
they wud perhaps ..b the longest 3 months of our lives....
hope time flies real quick....n i cya alll soooooon..

I havent really posted alot but I think its high time i begin.....
It almost been 20 odd days since we left GIM and its been really difficult to live with the memories and the chadown that we have left behind....
You have to look at the Official Ids(GIM Ids) to believe me...Its been raining mails...whr every 1 talk about each and everything under the sun but never forgets to sign off with the words like...."Missin GIM"..."Miss u all"..."those were the best days of my life"..etc etc..
A few of us have been lucky to have joined work early dn the majority....otehrwise the free days bfor the work actually begins cud b killing....Bin thr so mark my words....
We all have plans to catch up sometime or the other....but those days will never come back....and it will never be the same again.....

Been no posts on this thread for quite some time...guess college is become really quiet wid every1 posted in diff cities for summers...summers here in bangalore been going pretty gud...wid 12 of us staying here together in IIM Bangalore and another 4 around in the city, we ve been having a lot of fun...feels like a mini-GIM in Bangalore...feel very proud to be representing our college in this huge campus...lotsa guys from other colls here like all IIM's, XLRI, XIMB,MDI,NITIE,NIRMA, TAPMI etc... good oppurtunity to interact wid other students and get a diff perspective on management..still miss the camaraderie that all of us share at GIM though...and really really miss my bikes..!!
the week goes away pretty quickly wid every 1 immersed in work...weekend's when this place comes alive though....trying to hit all places worth going to..Indijoe's and Legends Of Rock has already been conquered...time to move on to B11 and Peco's ... 😃
Its bin some days since ne1 posted...so i thought i will jump in..
Bin almost 2 weeks since i joined work and I guess sames the case with half of the junta from my batch....rest of the half...BORED...
Its so damn difficult to the normal life style after satying in a Bschool for almost 2 years....Your sleep timings change...(who said its only BPO guys stay awake whole night)..your eatings habbits change and the maximum change occurs in the wya you talk...Oh yes You truly understand the meaning of the word "GLOBAL"..
Majority of the joinings are suposed to take place this month beginning with Tata Captial..n I guess SBI guys joining is the last 1....
GIM mail is still flodded with weather reports...and Yes the meets are taking place at quite some pace....Although the biggest of 2 have bin at the weddings of our ex class mates....Guptaji - Chandigarh and Nishta - Mumbai....Thrs another get together planned on his coming weekend...Max junta is suposed to attend it with a few exceptions..(read me)...
m off to GOA...Oh YES!!!..I am actually going back to bring my bike back to me...and already thr r requests of snaps of our ex school and obviouslyy Boozee..
its bin ages since we heard from shailesh on PG...so whr might u b bro.....

So here I am again with my latest post...
Went GOA this weekend....and obviously visitd GIM.....Only 3 guys in the whole campus....Major rennovation work going on....every room has 2 Lan points now...so no need to buy Switches :poketounge:....OT roofs are gettin water proffed.....Library Compuet Lab is being changed into a classroom with desktop..(I saw new hi-fi tables being out of the wood)....
Ran into most of the guys...Sebi...Fareed...Joe...Jai das..and yes not to forget ISO as well..
Stayed in the same room which I had for myself in the first yr @ gim...good fun...but cud c the moments pass me by.....aka Dil chahta hai types...
Cud visualise the places we used to sit ..the roads we used to ride....the places we used for our bakarsss..Gds...n wot not...
Things really dont remain the same after u become an alumni....
Come woteva....GIM still rocks!!!

Hey All... Damn!!!! Seems like I am the only one posting here these days...dunno wass up with the Junta and specially Shailesh --> Aspire...Would love to hear him on this thread again but then I guess he got busy with his work. For the info..he just joined infy on 12th of May and I am sure he must be busy with his induction and guess they don't really allow community websites n other personal websites. Anyhow since the last time I posted thr have been things happening around. I for a change conceptualized and designed my first product (I am a product manager with a Dot com) and trust me its gonna be a kick ass application. Oh!! yes iI almost forgot its a GIM thread. We guys just met last weekend-Excuse being Tapan and Rubal's Bday celebration. We had awesome participation this time with guys like Rocker, Barda, Sundar and crusher travelling between states to come for the meet. One hell of a crazy night we met for a dinner at fariyas (near radio club-->gateway of India), spent like 4 hours dinning and catching up..in between tapan and rubal cut the cake and got a life scare when the rest of the junta spanked them really badly and almost threw them in the swimming pool. After that we went to have Kulfi at kulfi centre opposite chowpati - marine drive.By this time we had almost decided that to the hell with heading home we decided to stay awake whole night (just like the old times)....and sat down at marine drive which was later followed by a late night snack at marine plaza--which i shall say is a nice place. So by the time it all ended it was already 5:00 am and we were damn tired after a whole week of corporate life and night full of activities. It was good to catch up with all these guys and I think we could seriously do away with more meetings. There is so much more to write but I am supposed to be working right now so guess will continue with the second part in my next post... By the way I have a blog for myself --> I also got my bike done and its all ready for a country long ride. Will reveal my detailed plans in my blog - URL will be posted in sometime Cheers ~aris~

Just dropped in put a few words in the forum...After a long long time quite a few guys would be hitting Mumbai this coming weekend...PPl who got places in companies like Idea...Vodafone....Pidilite..SBI...HDFC bank...all are expected to join on 2nd of june..So coming weekends gonna be a bash again at some place in mumbai...
looking forward to see all the guys...and yes my side..I just made it to Inddiethumpers..
(The famous Royal Enfield Club from Mumbai)..Have been invited to a meet this saturday....and after the meet I have to do an overnight ride with them to some place to become a permanent member...
