i dont think saurav must be aware of this, but there's a new club which has been formed at GIM.....its none other than The MovieClub.....though officially it hasnt been named, but we all call it the MovieClub.....
the movies so far shown:
1) One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest (ranked 8.8/10 by imdb)
2) Children of Heaven (ranked 8.9/10 by imdb)
3) The Great Dictator (ranked 8.3.10 by imdb)
the objective behind inception of this club is enrich the collection of good classic movies and inculcate the idea across all batches that come and pass out from GIM.....
the objective is good and the idea of the movie club is novel....
three cheers for the people behind....
they are Anshul Bhat, Adit Parekh and Sankhodeep Ghosh....

sirji, that was an assumption...and i knew that i was wrong.....as news really travel fast.....
abt the club, some really good movies are in the pipeline....
and guess when are these movies screened? fridays, 6 pm onwards...Sarita ma'am, Parulekar sir, and a couple of other faculty come and watch these movies....there's no faculty and student feeling in those 2 to 3 hrs!!
and all these movies wud be with the library and hence students interested in screening/watching these movies wud be able do so on need basis!! 😃

ohh yes....that match was fatal.....sonam and himali were looking at the ball in the air (which was to be caught).....and both of them collided after the ball was caught....
it so happened that himali's teeth hit the forehead of sonam, and hence she had to take stitches in the damaged forehead region.....himali's front teeth got damaged.....her lower jaw got fractured (left part)
match was obvioously called off.....and abandoned.....
both of them are doing good now....so nthg to worry abt....

Prof. Ranjan Ghosh
B. Tech. (IIT Kharagpur), M.S. (Stanford University), M.S., D.Sc. (Columbia University).
Also Teaches At:
IIM-C, IIM-B, IIM-I, IIT-Kgp, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, XIM Bhubaneswar, Columbia Univ (USA) and Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand).
He has also been chairman/member of several expert committees set up by the Government of India as also the State Government of West Bengal. At the IIM Calcutta, Dr. Ghosh had held various administrative positions such as Director-In-Charge, Chairman - Operations Management Area, Chairman - Post Graduate Programme, Chairman - Management Development Programme, Chairman - Internal Personnel Committee, Chairman - Computer Centre, Vice-Chairman - Academic Council, and Member of the IIM-C Board of Governors. Dr. Ghosh is also on the Governing Body of several Management Institutes. He has been a member of the Board of Studies of several professional societies and academic institutes.
