Life @ K J Somaiya Institute of Management

Hey folks! Enjoying the post CAT, pre SNAP, holidaying phase? me too..college is closed. Today let me take you through a beautiful and colorful night in SIMSR campus.

Rains dampened the day but not the spirits of the folks at this do. DANDIYA DHAMAAL, on 16th of October organized by SAF (Student Activity Forum of SIMSR), saw students turning up in their best traditional attire. Girls were dressed in ghagra-cholis of the brightest shades of pink, red and orange and the guys dressed in crisp bright kurtas

The event started around 6:30pm and then there was no stopping of the garba gangs. Given the popularity of remixes and fusion music it was interesting to see traditional tunes blend in with modern dance steps. Also, the best dancers and the best dressed were given prizes. To keep the energy levels flowing, lip-smacking snacks like sandwiches, gola and nariyal paani were also served.

For students, who are here from different corners of the country, the event evoked nostalgic feelings as they remember the festivities back home.

Keep PGing 😃

Green Benches at night! 😁 Best place in whole campus at that time!! splat

P.S: I like to keep it short! 😁

Hi everyone .. It's been a long time since I last wrote something here.. trust me even

I missed writing on this wall ;)

Summer internship GDs, PIs, different rounds kept me busy.. You will realize the same once you get into an MBA college!

Well today I would be posting about too of SIMSR's biggest events Nostalgia-2013 and Navikaran-2013.

The former is the biggest extravaganza at SIMSR , Alumni committee's flagship event where there was fun, culturals, nostalgic moments unlimited while the latter is the ultimate Marketing Fiesta!!

Nostalgia is the annual alumni homecoming event conducted by the Alumni committee, facilitated by the college management.

The event happened on 23rd November this year. Members of the

committee and other volunteers of this event left no stone unturned in terms of the preparations. The theme for this year was Reflection- Shades of the past..

From decorations to the dance themes to the promotions on the website and FB page, the theme was very well executed throughout the whole campus.

No doubt that the Alumni, our chief guests loved it...the event truly revived their memories back. Students had done their best to make the Alumni nostalgic and happy.

The evening comprised of various culturals followed by DJ dancing followed by the dinner.

Culturals mainly comprised of:

-> Folk dance with culture of Rajasthan beautifully portraid by beautiful ladies of SIMSR.

-> Hip-hop on Prabhu Deva's euphoric songs includng the latest "Gandi Baat".

-> Shadow Dance mesmerized each one in the audience.

-> Tribute to Bollywood Divas- A dance on songs pictured on Meena Kumari, Rekha, Madhuri Dixit and others.

-> Skit, the hilarious, much talked about event of the night made everybody laugh to the fullest.

-> Bollywood Dance performed by group of ladies on a fusion of songs..

The event truly brought back the ex-SIMSRites's time 😃

Post that was Marketing committee, Interface's flagship PAN-India event "Navikaran". The event touched newer heights this year with prizes worth more than 2 lakhs distributed.

It is a two day fiesta which started on the 26th of November. The main events were:

-> Ranniti- the digital marketing plan making competition.

-> Tweet-up- the one of its kind event with a guest lecture on Social Local Media Marketing followed by a fun quiz on twitter live.

-> Markyudhh- the marketing plan competition for a leading bank of the country.

-> Srijan- The fun-filled Graffiti competition with prizes worth thousands distributed.

The closing day evening ended with the felicitation ceremony of all the events..

Navikaran, a success this time as well!!

That is all I have for you today.. trust me MBA is not a dry course,

it totally depends on how you take it 😃

Happy preparations for rest of the exams and all the best for the results!!

Keep PGing 😃

Is it necessary to write only when you have something special to tell? Not really na! but yes if something is there, it motivates you to write 😃 So here I am with another event that dazzled SIMSR last week, Draft FCB Ulka's Comstrat'13.

Now in its eighteenth year, it is the first ever case-study competition in the area of communications, to be organized among management students in the country. DraftFcb+Ulka Advertising along with K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research has pioneered this concept. The uniqueness of Comstrat lies in the fact that unlike other case study competitions, which are in the field of general management/marketing/finance, Comstrat is the only competition conducted in the area of advertising and communications.

The event this year was organized on the 7th of December, 2013 in the customary host campus, SIMSR. The teams that made it to the finale this year were from JBIMS, IIM Bangalore, NL Dalmia, SIMSREE, NMIMS and KJ Somaiya. With live case studies and immense learning experience drawn from, this year the case study provided was on Godrej Hair Color.

Eminent Personalities from the industry graced the occasion with their presence.

After an exhilarating round of presentations, the teams that topped the charts were – SIMSR (Winners), IIM Bangalore (First Runners' Up) and JBIMS (Second Runners' Up). The winners won a loads of goodies and prizes.

Personally I found the event very enriching and worth witnessing.. So once you enter a B-school make sure that you attend and participate in such events.. you will learn a lot!!

All the best! Keep PGing 😃

NRS-2K14

With the advent of the debate over FDI in multi-brand retailing in India and Delhi Government not allowing it, allowing it, Flipkart buying Myntra, not buying it, retail has become the talk of the town in the states of board meetings and management colleges. So today I will take you through the two day journey of the annual retail event held in SIMSR…NRS 2K14!

National Retail Summit, the flagship event organized by students of PGDM-RM, SIMSR reached newer heights this year. The students of Team NRS 2K14 during the two days (6th and 7th February) left no stone unturn to make it a success. The pre-buzz events started right from first week of January with new contests like “Whatsapp with NRS”, the logo quiz competition on whatsapp and “Online Painch Ladao”, the firki with confession wall on it etc... BTLs (Below The Line) promotions will be taught to you guys in MBA.. Application you see ;). The whole January had something or the other in terms of offerings from the house of Team NRS. Not to forget to mention, the students had their tri-semester exams in between but this is management of priorities and time of course.

Interesting and engaging events like Shop-o-mania (the theme being capture your shopping experiences), Palm-o-kraft (unleash your creativity without sketch-pens), Candy Crush Saga (the gaming competition with people getting crushed at each level), Manthan (battle of the strengths i.e. tug of war) and Eldorado (wake up your Sherlock neurons i.e. treasure hunt). Eventually the D-day had come. Following were the highlights of the 2 days:

Day 1

6th morning saw the inaugural ceremony of NRS, with the eminent guests LocalBanya.com Mentor and Strategy advisor Mr. Nitin Mukadam, Director SIMSR Dr. Satish Ailawadi and Prof. Isaac Jacob. The guests emphasized on the exponential rise in online retailing and their take on FDI in retail. Finale of Kurukshetra Case Study Competition, the flagship event of NRS followed. After a long competitive span of hours, results were announced. Simultaneously Retail Mela with the theme of “The Great Indian Mela” was going on the popular hang-out place “Green Benches”, the stalls ranged from sweet candy floss centre to balloons to spicy eatables to paper quelling artifacts to terracotta jewelry to budding SIMSR entrepreneur stalls.

The same day a workshop on e-tailing was conducted by Mr. Amit Tripathi (MD, IdeateLabs). He enlightened the students on various e-commerce insights and data. Laying emphasis on the Active User Usage, he explained how ephemeral digital world is and said the very existence of Market Research will vanish provided we have a fancy Big Data Analytics team.

Not forgetting the fun quotient, Team NRS had organized a Stand-up comedy show with various famous young comedians like Akash Mehta performing. Day 1 ended with Re-Connect, the Annual Retail Alumni Meet. The super seniors managed to take time out on a weekday and addressed the students of the current batches. Day1 was a huge success and gave the students of continuing to conduct such events in future.

Day 2

The second day as planned was a mélange of both engrossing and motivational sessions. The day opened with welcoming esteemed guests viz. Mr. Siva Rangaswamy (MD, RDS Consulting), Mr. Vivek Rastogi (SAP Retail Consultant, TCS), Mr. Ravi Ramanathan (Business Strategist and Offshore Advisory Consultant), Prof. Isaac Jacob (Program Coordinator, PGDM-RM and Marketing Communication), Mr. Rajesh Ingle (DOM, Truesense) and Mr. Manish Taneja(Co-Founder and CEO Purplle.com). The program proceeded with a panel discussion on “Retailing a decade ahead” followed by Retail Success story of the event's title sponsor Ram Krishna Travels Pvt. Ltd., Purplle.com and a budding student-entrepreneur's venture.

The finale of the Retail Business quiz proved to be another success with teams from renowned colleges like IIT-B, SIMSREE and SIMSR battling for the title. Meanwhile other students and faculty members were enjoying shopping at the Retail Mela.

Finally another fest ended @SIMSR. It also marked the start of another one, Melange'14(14th- 16th Feb) themed "for a better tomorrow". SO... stay tuned with me for loads of stories on Life@SIMSR...

Keep PGing 😁 and All the best for GD PIs!!

Yea yea.. even I heard about the controversial CAT scores this time, genuine or fake let the court decide, you can shift your focus to another event that is penned down on Life@SIMSR ...err typed down today :)

What is liberating is that writing gives you the freedom to write about anything whether or not you can do it!

Amidst all the hustle-bustle of the ever-hectic MBA life, sports open the door for reviving the spirit of winning and sportsmanship and bring the adrenalin rush to achieve something! With this idea in mind, SIMSR Sports, the official sports committee of SIMSR organised Yudh -Inter B-school Sports festival from 7th to 10th February.

By its very nature, sport is about participation. More than 12 premium B-Schools including JBIMS, SJSOM, NITIE, SIMSREE, S P Jain, NMIMS participated in the festival making it a huge success. To keep the janta engaged, event members of the committee conducted several pre-buzz events like Sports quiz, Counter-strike, Need for speed and Box-cricket.

From athletics to mind twirling indoor games like chess, to strength and technique driven badminton, table-tennis and squash to outdoor games like apna favorite Cricket, fifa fever football, la-nadal tennis, throw ball and Volley-ball was organised.

Overall it was a great rescue from the usual assignments and presentations...

P.S. Great show for born spectators (when it comes to sports) like me 😉

Attending Salsa workshops in your MBA school and dragging a dear male friend to partner for it was never in my wishlist of to-dos in MBA college.

But SIMSR gives you what you didn't expect....and so here I was trying to tune myself on Salsa counts, all thanks to Melange'14, the annual intercollegiate event of SIMSR, which this year was set around the theme 'a better tomorrow'- A small step towards creating a beautiful future.

The event was held from 14th to 16th of February and created a huge buzz among the b-schools across the country.

As a part of pre-Melange'14 activity a blood donation drive in association with Lion's Club for €œSamarpan Blood Camp €? was organized on 11th of February. About 150 people including students from SIMSR, faculty and staff registered for blood donation, out of which, 100 candidates were able to donate blood as the donors went through a series of medical checkups before donating blood.

Having approximately 10 months of Corporate experience I can say how messy world it is! And why not prepare the to-be executives from the start.. All management games viz Alpha Manger, Stratinnova,

Jigayasa - the case study competition, Kurukshetra Battle Contest (KBC) - Mahabharat, Gita Quiz,

Green Trade and Finstruct - a finance case study to restructure a sick company.

Day 1- the opening bash with bollywood touch- Amit Sadh and Tapsee visit thr college.

Day 2 the musical day:

War of Bands ,

Roadies,

Razzmatazz ,

Stunt Show,

Day 3 the most awaited and coveted day of Melange- Sunburn in SIMSR

With new experiences, memories and learning the students bid Melange'14 farewell, eager to take on excited planning, ideas and hopes for many more such events in the years to come. So till then, keep studying, laughing, spending time with family and relatives and eating at your favourite food-joints...

Keep PGing 😃

Thursday on 13th March 2014 was a different one all together. There was a sense of pride and cheerfulness in our eyes as we walked towards the Red Auditorium aka Audi to attend the 2nd Marketing Round Table Conference themed Marketing @ 2020! Ms. Vinita Bali, MD CEO Brittania had come as the chief guest. Simple and elegant in attire as always, Ms. Bali spoke about the elements of a successful brand. Ironically in this context, she did not mention Brittania even once.. well I can write about elements of a successful leader now! J

She listed a few successful companies like Apple, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Flipkart and their success stories.. Mentioning about Apple, she emphasized the fact that the company created need and then recreated the same with new products. They are innovating continuously.

She quoted Kodak,to exemplify a company which forgot to continuously innovate despite having the first mover advantage. How people still recall the brand via phrases like €œKodak moments €? whereas the company filed bankruptcy in January 2012, the same time Apple became the most valuable brand.

Brand sustainability and service becomes a tool for the company in long run. She praised Microsoft for how it reinvented itself with different value propositions over the period of time. It's a company's foresightedness that validates acquisition of a rookie app Whatsapp by Facebook at $19 billion and Gillette by P&G.; Citing Nike, Southwest Airlines, Starbucks and The Body Shop, she enlisted the characteristics of each of these great brands.

The whole event was managed by Interface, the Marketing committee of SIMSR under the Conference Convenor, Prof. Monika Khanna.

I hope to attend many more of such sessions directly from the wizards in future as well. Guest Lectures, conferences ain't that boring!

On that note, me signing off for today!! All the very best future MBAs!! 👍

Hey there all the new Joinies!!

It has been a long time since I wrote the last on PG!! But then you guys were equally busy in getting admissions, filling forms of the remaining colleges, paying college fees, cancelling admissions, getting refunds, applying for education loans and so on... phew!! But these are all unavoidable chores that you all have to do in order attain your goal of "Doing MBA from a Good College".

I now being a senior can advise you a bit before your actual terms start. But then that will be too preachy! So its better you guys learn it yourself.. ohkk a few things, try to be flexible enough to adapt and adjust, don't expect people around to be too good or friendly (they all have their own goals and reasons to be where you are), mess food will never be as good as your home food, never forget that by enrolling in MBA in any college you have put 2 years of your life at stake so don't waste them, learn, unlearn and most importantly have fun!! 😃

Till the next time we meet, Keep PGing!! 😃

“Ae Dil Hain Mushkil Jeena Yahan, Zaara Haatke Zaara Bachke Yeah Hain SIMSR Meri Jaan”

A month at SIMSR and Mumbai is synonymous to SIMSR now. Coming to a B-school, with loads of dreams and excitement, you come here and experience a drastic change in your life. Fifty five acres green campus, well-built infrastructure and a location in the financial hub of the country makes anyone fall for SIMSR. Every morning you are woken up to the beautiful view of the running track, behind which you can spot the Sayadri hills. The cherry on this cake is the “Bombay ki Barish”, that makes the view more beautiful and calm. Lectures and guest lectures starting from nine in the morning keep you busy till the evening. But as they say, “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”, we have fun filled evenings with friends, exploring the new city with food joints, tourists spots or simply roaming around having fun. You have events lined up all throughout the year, making management learning more interesting and fun. Life @ SIMSR has just begun, with loads of opportunities, fun and learning waiting for us. But it has truly become a part of our lives and created a room in our hearts that can be filled with loads of memories.

When we talk about skills that an MBA needs to possess, the first thing that comes to our minds is the ability to gel with people and work efficiently in teams. With this in mind, the incoming batch of 2014-16 across different courses at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research were taken batch-wise on an outbound trip to Lonavala as part of an extremely efficiently conducted induction programme before the commencement of the First Trimester.

Given a deadline to start from the campus by 6 am, all the students woke up at dawn, a long time before the sun even dreamt of showing its face to the earth after a nightlong slumber. Soon two buses filled with enthusiastic future managers (one bus filled with people more enthusiastic to catch up with their lost sleep than engage in conversation with their batch mates) started off with the journey for Lonavala. Two hours passed in a jiffy and by the time the people in the first bus had actually started waking up, we were at Lonavala.

After a delicious breakfast, we were all made to gather in the backyard of the resort and sorted into teams for some group activities, the idea being to make us realize the importance of team-building and the active participation of each member in a team task. The tasks - Cob-web, Caterpillar-walk, Traffic Jam, Acid-walk and Roller Coaster - were a mix of fun and intense, testing our creative, gelling and enterprising talents to the core.

During lunch, we interacted with more people from our batch with whom we hadn't spoken before and the interaction was the trailer of the great bonding in the days to come. After lunch, there was another task about silently looking for forty numbers randomly scattered across a room and tapping silently with the foot after finding each number. The takeaway from this task, as well as all the other ones, was that contrary to popular belief, we all tend to work much better in silence rather than by unnecessary talk all the time.

After all the tasks, the last hour was open for DJ and almost everyone joined in to shake a leg. Finally, it was time to return. It was a day that had all the ingredients for a blockbuster start to a life-changing, career-defining two years for fifty-five promising young managers who aspire to redefine popular trends of business in the days to come.

It has been a month in K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research even called as SIMSR,and I am already feeling that I have been a part of SIMSR since ages.I have never been so busy in my lifetime. In past few days we had a 4 day junior senior interaction event i.e ALL IZZ WELL.which was a cultural celebration.Followed by this ,we had rigorous selection procedure of various committees in college.Apart from this,we also had our classes, projects, guest lectures.

I have already learnt so many things which is not possible to gain from academics such as time management, managing events with a limited budget, marketing and many more things.

Also being a hostelite ,I have got to know people from various backgrounds, culture which is very importantfor the personal development.

I am enjoying my best part of life in SIMSR.WIth a huge campus with all the facilities available and that too in a crowded Mumbai,It is a calm and peaceful place to spend the best experience of your life.

TO MY JUNIORS

Entering the month of August in SIMSR, it is an entirely different experience. The Infrastructure is mostly unchanged except the newly renovated canteen and the naming of the auditoriums (Nalanda and Takshila) and hostel (Sandipani). The management and the faculty is mostly same. What has really changed is that we have become the seniors of PGDM.

Being an adcomer I had always been excited to meet my juniors. How can I forget my beloved seniors who were always there with me teaching me new things about life. It is now time for me to follow their footsteps.

As a part of the Admission Committee, I had started interacting with the aspirants, long time ago. Clearing their doubts and helping them out had become a part of my routine. Roobaru, SIMSR senior-junior meet gave me the first chance to meet the soon-to-be-SIMSRite.

Then came the time when I came back to SIMSR post my internship. It was a delightful experience knowing that a lot of juniors already know you. Got the opportunity to witness their talent in ALL IS WELL. The kind of efforts that they had put in made us seniors nostalgic reminding us of our version of All is Well. The Fun and Frolic continued with the DJ Party organized by the council. I found some really great buddies in the junior batch.

Then came a very critical event that I had been really excited about. The process of Committee selection started with presentations of all committees followed by rigorous selection process. The task on the head was to choose a perfect team for Interface- The marketing club of SIMSR and an efficient team for the admission committee. It wasn't easy to tackle the two processes running simultaneously but I made sure I give my best at both the places. Finally after a week of tiring process we finally had both the teams ready. The first interaction with the newly made team and the task performed by the team truly justified our choice. An outing for dinner with the new Interface team was an icing on the cake. It helped both seniors and juniors to interact and open up with each other.

Soon the tasks will be roll out to the teams and we will start full fledged work. Hope this bond between the seniors and the juniors goes strong with time and we are able to guide and help them.

P.S. A very happy friendship day to all the readers.

-@Highflyer_Aman

Gosh, it has been almost two months since I'm here. Going on a flashback-

19th June - A boy, about to embark on a two-year journey that would define his future career, bids tearful goodbyes to his parents as they board the train for home.

Over the next few days, he finds himself trying to adjust to his new life - trying to gel with people coming from different parts of the country, interacting in an alien language, having food that he has never tasted before (coming from West Bengal, one does need some time to get used to the food and weather over here) - in short, things he had never dreamt of doing before.

By slowly, he began to find his feet at his new abode. He made new friends, interacted with a lot of people, both inside and outside the college and started learning tits and bits of the new subjects (still a really long way to go, though). He also got selected for three Committees (I tell you, Student-driven Committees are the best thing about SIMSR) and began working with them.

This was the story so far for Saptarshi Das, my humble name. Things are hectic here at SIMSR, but it teaches us to work on deadlines, something that is going to define our future decisions as Managers in the years to come. I have learnt a lot over the last two months and had a lot of fun too (the second bit gaining a lot of precedence at times). But this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are going to be lots of new things to discover, lots of experiences to enjoy. I just hope I would be up for everything that this place has to offer me.

ALL IZ WELL

With the calendar on roll, hundreds of fresh faces arrived to the vast, lush green campus of SIMSR on the 19th of June. I was one among them. As eager as we were to embark on our exciting journey of 'life @ B School', we were also somewhat clueless and nervous about a plethora of unforeseen experiences in store for us in a new place and environment. The successful commencement of the induction program and outbound trip had helped us tremendously in commingling with our classmates and settling into our new surroundings. We had only begun to get accustomed to morning classes, post dinner walks and outing on Sunday nights when our seniors hit the town having completed their summer internships.

It was time for the juniors to get to know their 'daddies' and hence 'ALL IZ WELL' was organized by SAF(Student Activity Forum) from 7th July to 10th July in full spirits. In essence, 'ALL IZ WELL' was a four day long, ice breaking event between the seniors and juniors, as well as the different courses. Different fresher batches of SIMSR i.e. PG Core A, PG Core B, PG IB, PG RM, PG FS and PG Comm competed with each other to make their mark as the 'hippest' fresh batch of 2014-2016.

The preparations for this mega event had started well in advance. On the first evening of the carnival students marched out on college lanes and promoted their class with the aid of myriad of colorful posters, accessories, costumes, banners, newsletters, drum rolls and what not. By contrast, daytime used to be reserved for silent promotions.  For four consecutive days students would attend back to back classes in the morning. Then they would perform dances, songs, plays, spoofs, flash mobs and many other programs till late evening followed by preparations for the next day stretching far up till twilight.

'ALL IZ WELL' was a time when a lot of hesitant freshers holding themselves back came out of their shell and showcased their talents. The result came out in the form of some truly exceptional performances and we came to explore talents galore among our classmates. The competitiveness of the event added more thrill to it. Interesting war-cries and slogans were screamed and howled to intimidate the opponents. Seniors and fellow batch mates seated at the amphitheatre were a sight to watch.  Seeing the vivacious and cheering crowd supporting us, one could not ask for better spectators.

In the end, results were announced. PG Core B had the honor to hold the winners title closely followed by PG Comm that was the runner up batch. The best part was that all batches were celebrating and sharing in the joy imbued in spirit of true sportsmanship. 'ALL IZ WELL' was a huge success in all respects and not only in terms of the scale and level of performances and events. We learned to apply management practices in real situations like pragmatic planning and its efficient execution within short deadlines. More than anything else, it was during this event that we found our first friends in college and imbibed a sense of belongingness to SIMSR. The memories of ALL IZ WELL 2014-2016 will be cherished forever.

*_Amul Trip_* A fresh taste of corporate exposure for first year SIMSRites came through the 2-day trip to Baroda, or Vadodara, as we call it now. As approximately 150 students guided by 2 teachers boarded the Mumbai-Vadodara Express at 11:30 pm on August 19th, there was an anticipation of something fun in the air. For most of us who were out of the sheltered habitat provided by our parents for the first time, it was the just the beginning of a horde of experiences to savour over the next 2 years.

As the train trudged slowly into the Amul City in the early hours of the morning the next day, every student was wide awake with the excitement of a new experience, new things to learn from the industrial visit. And not one soul experienced an iota of disappointment at the end of 2 days. From a visit to the Tribhuvandas Foundation (an NGO which looks after the healthcare facilities of the underprivileged sections of the society), to a Guest Lecture on Rural Marketing at IRMA, to a visit to the NDDB (National Dairy Development Board) to learn about the launching of Operation Flood and the subsequent boom in the dairy industry in India, the trip had it all. We were also taken to the Amul Village and later to the Amul Factory. To see the huge silos and other machinery storing and processing millions of litres of milk to be delivered to far-off places in the country was an experience of its own. We were also awe-struck to see huge chunks of Amul Butter being processed and packaged to be later delivered to our own homes among the millions of households across India (too bad that we couldn't take all the yummy stuff for ourselves).

When you are out with 150 batch-mates, the element of 'masti' is never far off. We were delighted to be taken to an Amul Store where we could have ice-creams and other Amul milk products to our heart's content at cheap rates. And thanks to the Institute management, our stay, in air-conditioned suites with all necessary facilities, couldn't have been more comfortable.

At the end of an extremely pleasurable trip, we finally returned to SIMSR by the same train in the wee hours on the morning on August 22nd. It was a trip that was totally satisfying in terms of the industry visit that we made and the unlimited 'pagalpanti' that we indulged in. Looking forward to many more such trips in the near future.

                           MANTHAN-"The Churning of Ideas"

The rage for public debate now shelves itself in all quarters of corporate world. On 27th August, 2014 ACUMEN-The Quizzing and Debating Society of SIMSR, offered the students a valuable opportunity to participate in MANTHAN, it's first debate competition .The students displayed their art of persuasion to the fullest. The event received overwhelming response for its online prelims round followed by 8 teams carving their way out for the main event.

The teams were evaluated on the basis of 3 rounds by our judges, Prof Deepika Atawar and Prof Pramod Shetty. Ankit Redkar and Ashish Dangra from MMS first year gave a tough fight to all the finalists and were declared as winners.Mohit Juneja and Krishna Thakkar were declared as runners up for the event.

Looking forward to participation from the students in all events lined up for the year ahead!
