No one can predict how many in the W/L will confirm their admission.. Coz many might opt out..as they may be having other calls too.. Best thing for you to do is keep a track of the activities goin on in this thread and if i get to know any info, i will post it here.. I am sure u will get thro.. Coz a friend of mine who is also in W/L 2, told me that he knows 5 guys in W/L 2 who will be opting out and 1 friend of mine who is W/L 2 has already taken admission in XIME... Hope u feel relaxed after reading this stuff....
cheer up guys.....me opting out of sdm.....since got through IRMA.....which was my dream.......any way sdm is a good college with the best faculty plus infrastructure.......also has great placements....for those who got through ,all the best and for those in wait list.....just wait a few more days....and hope for the best.......till then cheer up.....bye

Well my prediction is based on my sixth sense and not on any theorem( waise bhi probability aaj tak mujhe samajh nahi aayi), and my knowledge of finance says that what everyone thinks wud happen never happens. I dont have a techno mind like Murali and Abhi but my financial mind says that this year the selection wud be as follows:
Merit list:60-65 WL1: 20-25 WL2: 10-20
Dekhte hain final selections ka kya pattern hota aur hum teeno mein se kaun jeetta hai.

Hi surabhi, I think you guys r doin a gr8 job by helping the sdmimd aspirants. I also belong to the 2nd waiting list and am eagerly waiting for the result (to be positive). Instead of just predicting could you plzzzzzzzz find out the actual no. of students from the merit list who have joined sdm and also the no. of students from the 1st waiting list who have joined (till now). Wat r the chances of students who r in the second waiting list,do we have any any chances of gettin thru. Plzzz reply its very important 4 me. Thank you.

ya i got offer mail on 16th march and 19 i recieved the offer letter

I was in W/L 1 and i got my Offer letter and mail... May be SDM have Called the top 10 candidates from W/L2..!! May be Surabhi, can throw some light on this issue..
i was in the first wl and got a call.... the letter asks us to submit the original mark-cards... if that is the case ...is it imp to personally go to the college to register.... or can we send the photocopies now by post ....and then show them the orignal letter when we report to the college...

wen i went for admission they said if i was mailing the DD , i can send only the certified phototcopies of all required docs and submit originals at the time of joining.
i think it wud be wise to enclose a letter saying that since u r sending them along with DD by post, in view of safety u have enclosed photocopies, but u will surely produce them in original in person later.

Hi..i took admission(1st list)..cudnt able to make contact with current seniors as xams started on that day..but met with few outgoing seniors..GREATTT EXP...very cordial from Every staff to students to profs..really got to much impressed ..just love at 1st site(the campus)regarding ur concern yeah u hav to submitt the originals (the doc. i submitted--Original Graduation Marksheets,Degree Certficate,Work exp. Certificate,CAT Score card)hostel rooms r good..enuff for a singlr occupancy..wasnt lucky enuff to meet Surabhi/Abhishek but vl get a year to interact with them for sure..thanks to them for all thopse genuine informations for helping me to choose finally a gr8 colg for my career n life..
So what have u done...guess submitted showed all the originals....
Actually i planned to go directly and submit the docs...Can u tell me what is the office hours....because there is a high chance that by the time i reach, it would be 4 p.m.
