but i still think SDM 's a good school and i had to vaccilate a lot before i left it!! to all the people who make it there, congrats! u guys got a good deal!

hey, can somebody at sdmimd tell me how many people from the merit list have joined and how many more seats are vacant. Do people from 2nd waiting list have any chances of gettin a call. Can we somehow know our positions in the waitin list.

For those in waitlist here's something to boost ur confidence - somebody ud have been benefitted by my rejection.. i got thru in SDM in the first merit list.. but after a lots of analysis and a big dilemma, with lot of risks i rejected SDM..
after a few days after SDM results, got thru in another institute.. so it was worth the wait..
SDM is a decent college and i know a guy who has joined this year after working with 2 years at infy.. a friend of mine visited the campus in person and she said the campus was awesome.. the only problem is they lack the brand value.. forget brand name, u'll find SDM a better institute than many of the 'so-called' best institutes in bangalore..
so good luck for those in waiting list..

well, i cant comment anything on that.. thats his decision.. i just quoted that for telling even ppl frm good companies recognize SDM as a worth institute.. even i have 20 months work ex.. and i applied to SDM, got thru.. but rejected the offer due to some reasons..
ultimately it has got to do with ur own personal instincts. so dont think or bother abt others' actions.. if u have the gut feel that an institute is good, go ahead..

Guys as of now i am destined to go to SDM...did not vist the campus but heard loads bout it..and really hope it can add value to my existing profile(1.5 yrs with CTS)..Is anybody from kolkata goin to SDM...then please reply to this post...may be we can meet up sometime.

I got acceptance mail on 16th and offer letter on 19th.I think that they might have given call to first 10-15 students of WL 2...And I took a week to come up on firm decision....So dont get panic and just be cool....
I pray to god that all the students in WL 2 gets the call.....
