My interview experience: SO Marketing officer March 2015 Venue: BOI Training cemter, Noida, 8:30 am Entry started at 9:00 followed by document checking. Peoples were helpful and polite but simultaneously stringent to norms- I heard few pleading, shouting and crying at other tables. If you don’t have required documents you will not be allowed for interview. After document verification I was called to a waiting area where I sat for 10 minutes. Another call for another waiting area in front of interviewer’s room after 10 minutes. There I waited for another 10 minutes. I was not scared but yes, a little nervous. I was called in fourth for the interview. “May I come in?”……..I heard- “Yes, Please come in” There was almost 8-9 interviewers in the panel 2 ladies and rest gentlemen. “Good morning Ma’am, Good morning Sir” keeping eye contact with everyone. “Very good morning, Please sit”…”Thank you sir” I said M 1: Mr. Pushpendra, Tell us something about yourself. I answered, In between I mentioned about my experience and awards I received during my job (Just to drive the conversation on my terms ;) ) M 2: As you said, you received “The best officer of the quarter award” 3 times in a row, what motivated you for the same? M 2: (a cross question) So why did you leave? M 3: Why do you want to join a bank? M 3: (a cross question) you said, you are looking for a government job, Bank job is not a government job. So? M 4: What is Management? M4: Do you think management can be done by “One Person” alone? (A tricky one) M5: How good a manager are you? M5: what is GDP? What is its meaning for a layman? M6: Tell me how one can bank upon you? M6: tell us about your hobbies. F 1: where you see yourself 5 years down the line? (Answered but she repeated her question with a smile) F 1: According to you what would you be doing after 5 years from now? (Answered in a typical HR manner but she remained unsatisfied) F2 and other few male members remained silent all the time but all silent members were staring at me like they had X-Ray glasses on. They said “Thank you and all the best” I thanked them and left, the whole process took around 10-12 minutes.
Brothers and sis it is nt mentioned in my marksheets and degree that i have done mba in marketing, will dat create a problem??

i believe that honesty would be the best in this case but still do you guys have any idea or opinion or experience of what works and what not in such cases
My brother has done PGDM-Retail Management with specialization in marketing. And specialization in marketing is clearly written on his degree. He was also allowed in the interview last year after some questioning that why retail management and bla bla....We are getting little worried this time as well after seeing so much confusion here. Is there a chance that he may not be allowed this time ??
