Actually, I'm lukin for sm good job opportunities..
If get sm, then I mi8 drop the option for MBE..N I mi8 try nxt year..
So, ri8 I'm thinking of paying The fees of MBE..
Can any1 please throw sm light on the rules regarding refund of the admission fees..??
Dude it better to pay the fees and it can act like a standby.
If ur confident enough of getting a good job profile.. so be it..
u can gather a work X of 12-14 months and also sit for the entrance exam once again....
As far as refund is concerned,rules have been mentioned in the prospectus or DU refund rules.
however there is a stipulated date that has been explicitly mentioned which beyond that, the refund becomes lesser and the further it is you may not get a refund.
I suggest you to do whats best in your interests.

Can U plz tell me what are the prospects for those who tak up 'Environmental Economics " as specialization.What all companies come for their recruirtment...Also wat profile can one expect in this field...
Another question I hav.... Wat is the best specialization one can take up in MBE...Keepin in mind the faculty,course n placement.....
I agree it all depends on personal interest...still every institute has some strong or weak areas...

For any specialisation to be undertaken,a stipulated number of minimum students ie 5 students have to take the course.
Not to forget our current HOD is from the Enviro Eco background so i guess if your batch can gather the reqd number,the dept will ensure u a placement in such profiles..
if u look at the trend,v hv more than 90% of the students taking up QTB.
A major chunk go for QTB & Finance(roughly 70%) while you have another minor chunk taking a combo of QTB & Marketing.
With the merger of the MFC MBE dept ur batch will definitely benefit frm the Core finance faculty as per the proposal.

If I am not getting you wrong then MBE releases more waitlist other than the current one .Please correct me if I am wrong.

But yeah some ppl @ waitlist 20 General category got through...
when will be the placement details for 2010 will be out? a senior had mentioned in the previous posts that the average package this year has been around 8lacs and highest was approx was 12..could some senior confirm this?

Iam fed up visiting MBE website for placement reports.
They know very well that this is admission time and aspirants will look for placement report(regular recruiters,profiles offered,Number of offers made,mean and highest salary)but till date no such report has been published.
Even IIMs which is well know among public for consistent 100% placement puts a placement report on the website.
I really dont know why this is not happening at MBE DU which is not a tier-1 institute. Not sure on what surety students will join MBE if this is going to be the case.

let me assure you that the performance of batch 2010 was excellent.Like I have mentioned above that almost all my seniors have been placed and some are awaiting their final call from companies.
moreover only the placement team are authorised to mention the name of companies that have recruited the final year students.
Although we had new companies recruiting this time,the ones mentioned in the brochure are our regular recruiters.
Recession or no recession MBE Rocks & ders no doubt about that.

Will that be intimated in the list that is bound to be come out on 24 and then we have to deposit the fees or we'll be intimated before that??

When i went to deposit the fees, the lady sitting there told me that, most probably, on the last day of depositing the fees for the first list, the second list (if any) will be put on the notice board and accordingly the candidates eligible for admission will be intimated .....

Hi Jonathan, Definitely the campus is laudable and I was wondering how could DU manage such a huge area in such a proper location inside the city.
