Hi,

It goes like this. You get shortlisted on basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT. They are treated on par. So if you have applied thru both CAT and XAT and can meet the cut offs, you get a call either ways... it's only post MICAT, GD, PI that final break up is done. This can change from year to year. MICAT could get 40% weightage and GD, PI 30% each...but this can change.

Hi,
For those who can't download and print the form, can buy it directly from the Bank/Coaching classes mentined on the website by paying Rs.1300/- cash. Someone else like you might find it easier to d/l, print, fill up and send with a DD. Get it?

Sorry maverick_rahul the last date was 12th Dec for sending the forms through CAT. You have to apply through XAT now. The last date is I guess 7th JAN. So go ahead...

Cheers

hi thr,
i think iv asked this one before but am still not very clear about it....for ppl applying only thru cat, wil a 90 percentile be considered lower than sumone with 91 percentile in xat?????
how does MICA actually plan to differentiate between the xat and cat scores...i guess CAT shud be given higher weightage considering the difficulty levels and the no. of applicants applying thru it.....
wil be of real help if u cud throw sum lite on it.....
thx
cheers

Hello MICAites/Everyone,

I've got a pathetic score in CAT (read 85%ile) and so not very hopeful for a call. However, M taking my GMAT next week, d preparation til now is relatively better so hoping for a good score.

Does MICA take into consideration GMAT scores also? I faintly remember seeing the GMAT fillins in the application form, but donot have any idea if its only for NRIs/Foreign students or for Indians also?

Havent yet received the propectus and not much info on the website regarding this.

Cheers,

Can someone tell me the placement scene at MICA? I've browsed the website and gives names of recruiters... but what kind of profiles are offered and what is the average and highest packages?

My score is so...

DI: 71.79 %ile
Quant: 99.16 %ile
Verbal: 98.90 %ile
Total: 99.10 %ile

Should get me a call for MICAT right?

Assuming yes, can someone also gimme a general overview of MICAT... the paper, pattern etc.

'We take the overall CAT score. This year we have increased the intake
to
120 and hence we may come down the percentile score. Last year it was
85.

Working Experience can help you perform better in the interview.

Good luck.
