im working in rbi as a assistant mumbai location n i have intw of ibps 2 po. so can any one guide me which one is beeter?? as in rbi there is no work load 10 to 6 office,house,good canteen n very very cheap food dispensery etc etc n transfer to capital cities only.....

hi guys....there is a situation...i have 2 options available 1) joining as PO in BOI
OR
2) joining govt. of gujarat as Dy.section officer (class-3) through GPSC job that is kind of non trasferable job @ gandhinagar having fix salary of Rs. 30000/month for 5 years.(right now salary is 10000/month but as govt. got defeated in High court & case is pending in Supreme court , govt has issued affidavit to increase the pay up to mini. wage i.e 30000/month )
& one more thing govt. job is way less hactic than bank job ....but there will be no increment in govt. job for 5 years...that is what they call "fix salary" scheme....

and yearly increment also and its also a type of non transferable job (if u dint want promotions)

Its a job for those who love marketing and customer interaction. There is nothing challenging if we exclude above two things as most of the work is done by the system all we have to do is just type commands. Its more like a call centre job as u have to attend the customer queries and resolve issues.
@Dr.kushal Visit both the offices, have an idea of the work done at both places and make a choice.

Recently i have selected in SBI as Assistant and after training they gave me posting in rural area about 60 km from my home so i totally disappointed as i have to prepair for Civil Services.
I have very good chance to select as PO through IBPS-PO..and i will get the CAG Auditor Post through SSC CGL-2012 in Dec also.
Now i am thinking to resign form SBI.I want a suggestion that should i join other bank as PO because some of the bank don't have brances in rural areas and probably in dec i will switch to CAG.
Friends plz suggest i can't leave all job because i need money for My Preparation..

.....friends what is good in comparison between SBI PO ...&...Dy. S.O job (as i hv mentioned above).....friends give answer soon as its urgent ( i am also in the receipt of 2 more offers from PNB & Allahbad Bank for PO)

buddy Dy SO job salary is 30000 (according to ur previous post and there are very less chances of increment)
IN PO ur in hand salary would be 26000 in SBI + 3000 (petrol) + u'll get newspaper bill + helper bill + house maintenance bill + phone
so bank PO salary would also be somewhere near 30000 mark it 500 INR up and down
also u'll get holiday trip (paid by bank) and other benefits if u wanna take loan etc + increment is there every year
and i dont know much about DY SO facilities if u know u can compare and choose which one is better
One thing if u join other bank ur chances of being a manager within 3-4 years are more while in SBI it would take aropund 5-6 years
so choose wisely
