every year it's different .................... in 2012 the posts are more as compared to 2011 which shows that in 2013 the posts are more likely to be less
Also all interview posts in 2012 are approx 4000.......... some non intw posts are also better in terms of peace of mind factor but there salary is low

SSC & UPSC will always be prefered over PO job,they are always good choice to make,i think PO job is for MBA & PG in fin,marketing sector who want to take brand name of PSB & leave it in 3-4 years span as money is higher as compare to SSC & UPSC jobs (am talking about white money ) yes power will not be there,on second thought i think Banking jobs do affect your thinking psychology and close your world form bank to home & home to bank,you will never thought anything out of it,offcourse some peoples do know how to balance the life but they are few one.............at last after SSC & UPSC its PO jobs,so Prep for SSC,UPSC until you get barred from taking exam and try PO job in your 28 to 30 year of age period,that is best stratergy.

Bro AC in BSF is gazetted post PO is scale 1
However if u had AC in CISF then i would hav said with no second thought tat join as AC but in BSF u will have posting in odd areas ( Borders).... u will get all allowances , all facilities that a grade A officer gets in cent Govt. job .... However it is kinda difficult to say whethr u would be happy in BSF
Decision is urs do a little introspection & think abt ur future goals & then decide
@micky1988@micky1988bro actually its crpf ac for which i m recommended. it is in every state but still hard postings are also in crpf
yeah i knw excpt CISF all othrs hav hard postings but yaar u hav to decide wat u want as per ur future goals Howevr the drawback of tough posting is compensated by the fact that u get promoted fast & ur allowances also increase
