@grvarora89 Look wage revision usually gets effective in 3 years time or so. Its a trend for years.
These calculations are done by GIPSA people, will definitely differ in actual revision. Usually the DA at the time of due date ( this year revision is due from Aug'12 ) is fully merged in basic to form the new basic plus some Percent increment on that. DA in aug'12 was 61% approx. So, you can calulate by yourself. How far it can go.
Monetary benefits is a part of the compensation which you'll get during your service. A lot of other benefits are there to avail.
@udayas4 Yes If you have mentioned in your form that you have experience Just because of a Govt. Organisation.
But frankly once you are selected nothing matters. You can buy time if there is any delay.
@RitenK i have filled my preferences as mumbai pune and baroda and i belong to Indore, MP wat percent of chances are there that i will get mumbai or pune??
@boyytech Joining at the place of posting is immedeate . you can get weekend or so.
Second you'll get 6 days joining leave later which you have to avail within 6 months.

FYI PPL :- take home salary would be around 29k for new recruits. In case u opt for rented accommodation, u'll b entitled for lease amount varying from 5k to 10k(according to city grade) bt in dis case u won't get hra..
