I have a query.... does TAPMI have any off days in a week? or it is open for 7 days a week... After each trimester do we get some holidays ?

Just wanted to share one point of mine...
there is a difference in being a Busines Analyst/Senior Business analyst and
a stupid developer/tester/maintainer in IT

Hence do not have any disinterest towards IT...


to be honest even BA role are boring in IT sectors .. but in audit firms like E&Y;, pwc, Deloitte BA/consultant role are the good ones .

I guess the escapism lies in the subjects we choose in the 2nd yr ..so i am planning to take marketing as majors 😛

What I found in the PGP handbook of last session, there are usual national and regional holidays like Diwali, Independence dat etc. Also after each trimester there is a break of 2-5 days, but most are used up for some NGO or project or event related stuff.But after first year completion there is a break of 2 months for summers...but with the internship with the internship in tow....

Even i gave my gd/Pi at IIFT delhi on 7 april.It was quite good.Infact i had second highest percentile in my batch 88.26.Pi was also good just two questions bothered me 1.why mba after engineering though i gave them the reason as per my preparation bt he was convincing no you should join ntpc,powergrid as they are having people crunch and second thing why i changed job in so short span of time as i have worked for 4 companies in 2 n half year

Don't know what's in store for me.Really tensed now as i have only two more calls KJS and LIBA and may be welingkar

People, there is already a fresher who has converted with 78%ile. So, if someone in 70s can convert his call, m pretty sure those in the 80 to 85 range should take heart and not give up!! So gud luck folks!!

Optimistic Me: It will take some time for ppl wid lower percntls to get converts.

Everyone here understands the frustration of the W/L candidates, esp since no W/L numbers have been announced as of now.. But since Admissions dept has confirmed that W/L nos would b provided nxt week(thanks to our seniors for this), there is no use in getting disheartened now... So ATB!!

i got info from senior that waitlist no will be provided before 25th.. is there any chance for tomorrow? so that we can have a peaceful weekend(waitlist no wateva may be)

Dude, be grateful that the Admissions Dept has listened to our seniors and planned to release W/L nos by 25. Think if that wasnt the case, how frustrated evry1 wud hv been!! So njoy the weekend... Its not like ur worrying over the weekend will affect the results in any way!! Moreover, getting W/L nos b4 the weekend may actually depress some folks.. So just wait it out bro... ATB for the final results!!

Dude your chances are as good as any1 but it cannot be predicted now that u will get selected or not..ppl have converted at this %ile..so just hope that u also do at this %ile...ATB to you buddy & just wait for few more days & u will get to know everything...

You are required to send a handwritten application to the Director stating your withdrawal, then within 1 month of the receipt of your letter you will get the refund. Call TAPMI & ask them the details you need to mention in the letter. Mail won't work...

i have a H1 visa for the united states..and have chance of going on a long term basis..parallely have converted TAPMI to...

So what do u guys suggest...is it worth leaving an onsite for TAPMI..

can anyone tell me whats the meaning of 120 PGDM second shift and 45 PIO seats ... will these people sit for placements along with the 300 PGDM seats ?

I m pretty confused after seeing such a high number of seats @ Tapmi...that whether shud i join or not ?

This year the intake is only 300..the rest are just aicte approved seats, but wont be filled this year.
