Please note, all withdrawal requests should be made through a formal request in writing (hard copy). Withdrawal requests/advises made through fax, electronic mails and phone calls will not be considered as valid. All withdrawal requests must be sent by post/courier. The date of receipt of such a request at TAPMI will be considered as the actual date of withdrawal.

For a person like me who is not generally interested in extra curriculars .. will it have any impact at the time of placements ? I mean, do the companies look for extra curriculars or only academics ?

Extra-curriculars are not a base criteria for placements, but all such criteria's of selecting a candidate depends on the company and it differs for each company. Extra-curriculars just show ur all-round talent and management skills in giving importance to academics and other activities.
I had paid the initial acceptance amount of Rs 25K and opted out of admission so I did not pay any further amount. The offer mail says that if a candidate does not make payments by the deadline, his/her admission would be cancelled and the refund would be made in one month, but no mention of sending a letter in this case. Its been about 40 days and I am waiting for the refund. Am I expected to send a letter or being patient would help?

The best option for you would be to call admissions cell and check about the procedure ,from my side I would suggest you to make a letter addressed to director as mentioned for refund.
Got the refund of 3.37 lacs yesterday by cheque. Applied for the same on 20th april. If u have a syndicate/icici bank account, tapmi will transfer it online. Else they will give u the cheque. P.S: its so grt of tapmi..they refunded all except 1K!! Kudos..

As far as I recall, seniors had mentioned that some of the companies do ask for your graduation scores but not all. Also, the placements would be based on your performance during that time. Anyways, m sure Viraj/Khanjan will respond soon enough. PS: M nt a senior, bt a aspirant at TAPMI!!

2-regarding formals, small query, can we wear shirts with stripes. I'm asking this stupid ques as in the interviews, i ve seen people advising to wear plain shirts.
3-Out of curiosity, wht is the avg stipend that students fetch in summer int ? just an approx fig would do.
4- I'm interested in finance from management background and a fresher. How much value will the NCFM cert will add to my profile as it is generally said that during and post MBA, they dont hold much value. Its basically pre-MBA tht make them so lucrative. Is it so ?

1. No dress code 2. Does it matter, coz most of the time you will be in casuals. But to answer your query, yes, u can wear shirts with stripes(I wore one to my TAPMI GDPI) 3. Depends, some companies give stipends whilst others dont for summer internships. Viraj/Khanjan, if you have any figures please quote. 4. No idea, Viraj/Khanjan will have to clarify on this..
