I would like some adcom to clarify once again because I still don't get it. 1. If there are specific number of seats allocated to women, then shouldn't we recieve seperate waitlist for general and reserved category (reserved here denotes women)? For example JEE admission process has 2 different rankings. One is your general rank, the other one is your category rank. 2. If there are no such seperate allocation for women but instead they do get 5% for "diversity", then shouldn't that score be added before the allocation of waitlist like every other colleges do? Like, if you add every other weightage parameters such as GDPI, acads etc before the waitlist, then why do you have to add only the diversity score after the waitlist? It makes no sense! (Imagine if some college added academic weightage after the waitlist lol!) 3. This can simplify be disregarded as an error, but your attitude towards it doesn't make it so. I have heard allegations about the adcom threating unofficial groups to be purged. Is is true? You have to understand that people have worked their asses off to join prestigious institutes like IIMs and your excuses don't cut it.
Friends Pl advice what to do Petetion is ready IIM Amritsar accepted its mistake might be because of the legal problems they face once we move High Court Shall we proceed or wait for some time?

We know it that AO and Adcom will never accept what they have done but atleast now the whole MBA world knows about their scam and this will be remembered by all future aspirants. Congrats Amritsar you have made it to the list of colleges doing scams. Ps. Rohtak has right swiped you on tinder.

Facts of the case: IIM Amritsar conducted adimission process as per their admission Document which states that Common Admission Test (CAT)forms 40% weightage of the admission process, 5% weightage given to tenth Standard Marks, 5%weightage given to 12 Standard marks, 5% wiegtage to Graduation, 25% to Personal Interview,5% weightage to Acadamic Diversirty ( For Arts and Commerce Graduates) 5% to Gender Diversity ( To Encourage Female) Basing on the above criteria Composite score of a candidate is arrived at and a merit list is prepared as per the composite scrore every individual receives. IIM Amritsar did first three rounds of selection basing on the merit list but in the fourth round of selection they started skipping the merit list and started giving seats to higher ranks surpassing lower ranks.When questioned, they replied in writing that they have not added 5% gender diversity score to composite score. IIM Amritsar is a Premier Institution Under Ministry of Education, Government of India. It has to adhere to the rules laid in their Admission Process Document Point no 16 and 17 of Admission Document clearly states that merit list is made basing on composite score after taking into consideration Gender Diversity but now the same Institution is saying that they have not added 5% weightage for Gender diversity that too after three round of selection. Question of Law: Every Citizen of India have Fundamental Right of Right to equality. IIM Amritsar is a Premier Institution Under Ministry of Education, Government of India, failed to follow Right to Equality as they have alloted seats in first three rounds basing on merit list which dont have Gender Diversity 5% added and started implementing from fourth round which is grave surpression of Fundamental Right of Right to equality given to us by Article 14 of Indian Constitution. Grounds: IIM Amritsar itself accepted through their posting on the web site on 13/06/2021 that they have not added 5% gender diversity to the composite score and prepared merit list which includes waiting list. Prayer: My lord this is the future of hundreds of acadamic excellents from premier Institutions like IIT, NIT, IIIT etc, who work hard for years together to get admission into this Prestigious Institution in pursuit of Bright future. But we are becoming victims of irregular admission process of IIM Amritsar and grave injustice is done to the best brains of the country.We are all scattered across the country and were in no position to come to the court and file writ petetion in this Covid Pandamic situation. My lord we pray your esteemed self to take this compliant as Suo Moto and prosecute IIM Amritsar and do justice to the most aspiring people of the country. Adcom Please help to understand that A.Why gender diversity score was not taken into consideration in first, second and third waitlist ? Is it fair to change the process in middle ? B. Please provide the status of Second and Third waitlist also to understand the movement ? If you can change the process in middle then you can do this too ( Synthesized WL) ... C. Do you ensure that from next WL , status will be provided in every WL movement ? Note - Please don't say that ask these query to Admission office because I have asked these queries and they are not replying.
