@ankur2009 the average package of finance companies is very good at about 7 lacs but they are far lesser in no as compared to companies coming for marketing profile. approximately Around 30-40% students opt for finance.

Hey i believe you...but it also depend on student's ability to get placed....its correct that investing 10 lacs on education is really tough thing to do but i believe its a joint responsibility of placement committee and students to work hard to call good companies for placements
hello every1..i had applied for imt on 20th feb and still i havent got a call for gd pi..i had scored 88.31%ile in cat and 65.74%ile in xat..what should i now??pls help

@parimaltewari10 Brother just understand that market situation is weak. All good colleges are slogging. IMT N is a tier2 institute by ranking. Among such bschools their performance is not bad. And alumni.imtn is clearly telling IMT N is the best thing that happened to him. Learning is what u can expect out of any bschool.. from wat i come to knw from seniors any bschool u get into if pay pack is wat tat fascinates u then u would be disappointed by reality once ur in. rather learn from the bschool both curricular and outside class .. it would sure give u an edge.

10 lacs is not a less amount...if i would not get a decent placement then it would take years for me to clear the loan.
@parimaltewari10 There is no denying in the fact that placement has been dull this year as compared to previous ones. But this is not only the case with IMT- N but in ALL b-schools. But you definitely cannot the rule out the benefits mentioned by the him. And as far as placement is concerned, you have still two years to go and the economic situation is surely to change in the coming years. And at the end of the day, its your skills and abilities that will fetch you a job than anything else.

I understand that very well . Getting placed for a 3 lacs does not mean 2 years after mba ur still in 3 lacs. above that most importantly based on knowing the uncertainty of getting jobs a decision of whether to do an MBA shall be taken. However when ready to take the risk then IMT N is one good place for that i guess.

Thanx a lot...you helped me clear my doubt...yes surely one must be positive in life since its difficult for anyone to predict the scenario in 2 years from now...i trust imt nagpur for its marketing specialization and positive to take admission if got a chance.

bro...all the aspirants trying for IMT N belong to sub 90 percentile range..mostly 75-85..IMT-G cut off is 96..if u are not interested in this b school den its fine but der is absolutely no point blabbering about IMT-g..matter of fact even IMT-G struggling about placement dis year due to der huge batch strength..all the tier II clgs are in the same boat

In my colleg's campus thr is another collg. They call it a Bschool.
1. The students njoi their studies.
2. And if 3 LPA is acceptable then by doing engineering, a bachelor's degree can provide u the satisfaction y r u torturing more to ur brain.
3. I am giving u this advice coz learning and njoiment serves that colg also and fees is 1.5 lacs of whole program.
So those who are interested in saving their 8.5 lacs, can join tht colg no point in wasting it.
My point is that the njoimnt wit peer grup and learnin is a subjectiv term and can b obtain from few bucks rather than 10 lacs.
@fazer55 They have given calls to many, as the GDPI process is same for Nagpur, Hyderabad and Dubai campus. Does not mean that everyone who attended the interview will get a call for Nagpur. Of course there Nagpur may not be of the standards of Ghaziabad, as IMT-G is pretty old and have built a solid reputation for itself, whereas IMT-N is relatively new, but comparisons are not allowed on PG.

@gatsby1922 92percentile..and the lowest conversion begins from 96..@fazer55 der is only a single interview for all the campus of IMT..so u never know whether its for dubai or hyd...nevertheless i will try my best to get in a tier II clg..if not den i'll go for a b-school with good roi..roi in IMT N is terrible
