Hi puys.. I too got an admission letter from SMU MITB course.. so quite excited about it.
Anyone who got the scholarship, was it offered to you upfront or you had mentioned in the interview ? Because I was told that scholarship will be merit based and will be offered after you join the course. Just wanted to be clear in that front.

hi all.. i have a peculiar problem.. i applied for Jan 2013 batch with score of 710. But since i had just completed 2 years as on November 2012, i received mail from the admission committee head stating that they would be willing to interview me for Jan 2014 batch in Feb 2013.. anyone had similar situation like this ?

hi .. my gmat score was 680 , about 7 yrs of experience in IT with 1 yr of international experience .. i think applying early for 2014 intake was a mjor plus for me ..

My interview was scheduled within 4 days i submitted my application and got an admit mail within 2 days of interview .. in a nutshell the admit decision was made within a week after i submitted my application.

@icespray it shoudl be a very standard interview .. no curveballs. This is how my interview went:
Tell us one good thing about leading a large team (i lead a team of 25 members)
Tell us one bad thing about it
Describe yourself in 3 words and give an example for each
Name one Asian who you look upto and why
What would be your biggest challenge if you join SMU
How would you overcome that challenge
Why MBA now and why from Singapore
How would you contribute to the class
Any questions for us
I think that was all - about 15 - 20 mins of discussion
@icespray just keep your cool .. i think they are most concerned about your communication skills.. probably to ensure you can contribute to the seminar style of teaching
