I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the decision of the Admissions Commitee.
We usually prefer candidates with about 2-3 yrs work although we do consider freshers only if they are outstanding. DO u have atleast a first class in ALL yrs of graduation?
Just FYI - in my opinion you need not tkae the SPJAT as you already have a score that meets our requirements

I applied to GMBA program for May Intake on 19th Jan. My status still says that it will updated shortly. But I know my friends who applied on 25th Jan and have got their evaluation dates. May I know the reason for the difference when it is clearly mentioned in the website that :
"applications will be scrutinized on a rolling basis. In other words each application will be evaluated as and when received. The chances for getting selected will therefore be higher the sooner you apply. The admissions may be closed sooner than the last date"
I think one should get the status if he/she is not selected.

Well your CAT score is fine so in my opinion you need not take the aptitude test.
While we do prefer students with work ex - we also consider freshers who are outstanding.
You may apply however the final decision to shortlist a candidate lies with the Admissions Commitee

I was planning to apply for spj's GMBA progrm. howevr i came across dat d aptitude test is on 2nd feb, n i havnt yet filled in d form, neither m i prepared for d test.. is there any oder date on wich d test could b held, before 31st march dat is d last date of forms acceptance??

I'm afraid you would not be able to register for the test now as the last date was 27th Jan 08.
You may apply before taking the test - however we do not shortlist candidates who do not havea score.

You would be given about 10-12 days to maek the acceptance fee payment

1) Well I would suggest that you read through our programme curriculum and credits and decide for your sefl which spec would be of interest to you and which whether this programme is suuited to you or not. We have alot of mature students who appy to our programme and who have benfitted from this prog
2) Our studnets have an equal chance of being placed in India, Dubai or Singapore
3) You need not take the the SPJAT as you have a valid CAT score that meets our requirements

We do not have a system of givng out waitlist nos.
We do not give exact reasons why a candidate is waitlisted - it could be anything from your acads to work ex to extra curriculars etc
If you fall short on even ONE of these - then you would be waitlisted
However this waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions Commitee and studnets found suitable are shortlisted. but there is no fixed time frame as to when this review takes place

The entire process does get over in the same day. The call letter clearly states that the process would last about 6 hrs.
So you may schedule your return journey accordingly

We havent yet decided the dates for the next round of evaluations.
Which status are you mentioning - application status? or waitlist status or evaluation status?
Application status tkaes about 30-35 days
Waitlist - there is no fixed time frame as it depends on the Admissions COmmitee
Evaluations status - takes about 15 days

FIrst of all im sure that your firiends havent applied on 25th Jan - pls givem me their appln nos and i will tell u the exact date of their applns.
And FYI even if they check their status on the site - it would show - will be updated shortly.
Its just that that this time round the Call letters have gone out before the status has been updated on the site.
ALL students will know theri status - its not as if we only inform the shortlisted ones and do not bother about the ones who havent been shortlistedd.
In any case - we have clealry stated it tkaes about 30-35 days for your status to get updated.
Pls check your status after a week or so.
