Having started as an intercollege fest 15 years ago, QoTB® has developed its identity across India and other nations, with its roots spread across three countries- India, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.
The latest edition of the quiz, QoTB® 2018, saw over 3000 teams from 3 countries fighting it out for fame, glory and an overwhelming cash reward.
QoTB® is hosted by the noted Quizmaster Mr. Giri ‘Pickbrain’ Balasubramanium, an avid quizzer himself.
The nationally telecasted show over ET Now enjoys the viewership of over 2 lakh people.

BrandScan is the annual flagship market research event of TAPMI.
Initiated in 1993 and with a rich legacy of 25 years, BrandScan is one of the pioneering events among Indian B-schools, conducting market research through a 'fair format'.
Conducted in two formats, in Manipal and Bengaluru, this unique event is managed entirely by students.
Consumer and market research data is collected through cleverly designed ‘disguised games’ for use by each of the corporate clients.
Over 300+ projects have been successfully executed by BrandScan, with over 20 projects being taken up each year.
The clientele includes Britannia, Perfetti Van Melle, Reebok, Samsung, ICICI, 3M, Nestle India, Reliance Jio, Hindustan Unilever, ITC Ltd, and Flipkart among others.
On 27th and 28th October, The Finance Forum of TAPMI organised the BLOOMBERG OLYMPIAD 2018.
It was a student run initiative to bring together Economists, CXO’s, Bankers, Regulators and Fund Managers to discuss recent trends, emerging issues, challenges and opportunities in the industry and the way ahead.
The events held during this conclave were targeted to create a platform for finance students to showcase their knowledge and also network with senior industry professionals.
The event was attended by industry stalwarts like Mr. George Joseph, Senior Fund Manager - Equity at ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd, Mr. Jayesh Gandhi, Senior Portfolio Manager at Birla Sunlife Asset Management Company, Ms. Shibani Kurian, Senior Vice President & Head -Equity Research, Kotak AMC and many more.
Students from 12 top B-schools from across the country participated in the event. These included IIM-B, IMT-G, SIBM-B, NL Dalmia, and more. IIM-B emerged as the winner while TAPMI bagged the runner’s up title. .
TAPMI has been awarded the prestigious AMBA accreditation. With the achievement of this hallmark of excellence in management education, the institute joins the elite group of B-Schools in India to hold the "Double crown" status from international accreditation bodies - AACSB and AMBA.
On 1st December 2018, The Director of TAPMI, Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan felicitated the PGP1 students, across all sections, securing the highest CGPAs in Term-1 of the PGDM/PGDM-BKFS/PGDM-HR program. In order to recognise and appreciate their countless hours of dedication and perseverance, students were invited for afternoon tea with the Director and the faculties. The event was also attended by a cohort of 24 students from Manipal International University, Malaysia who engaged in conversations with the Toppers and exchanged insights on their classroom experiences. The event concluded with the cake-cutting ceremony by the toppers, in celebration of their achievement.
