In the application form, the punctuation marks under the" leadership postions taken by students" are not getting saved. After clicking on the save button it says that only letters, numbers and dashes can be used.

Today I will be highlighting about one of the specialized courses- PGDM Rural Management.
One of the recent events Round table conference “AuRum 2018” was successfully conducted by students of Rural Management.
AuRum 2018 was inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Saksena, Ex HUL Water Business Head, Group Director Prof.Dr.Udya Salunkhe and Mr. Akshay Sadalge (Alumni), Relationship Leader, YES Bank.
Other guests for the event were Mr. Ramesh Juneja, Vice President -Sun Pharma, Mr. Surendra Aggarwal, Product head Tata Rallis, Mr. Rishi Jalan, Talent Acquisition-HR, Kotak Mahindra Bank.
R-haat- all the dignitaries were shown all the exhibits created by the students of PGDM Rural Management 2018-20 batch.
ChitRashaala- documentaries prepared by our first-year students were showcased & focused mainly on the exposure that rural management student get during “exploring the grassroots” immersive field visit to villages.
Key learnings-Today’s villages are tomorrow towns.

India First Leadership Talk Series by Anand Mahindra
WeSchool Mumbai, as an Institute has always encouraged leadership and entrepreneurship in its students.
Innovation and creativity are something it wants to imbibe deep in every student. The best example for innovation can be of Brian Acton the co-founder of Whatsapp. He was rejected by Facebook and Twitter but it was his creativity and innovation which led him to create his own social media platform Whatsapp. One of the steps taken by them is having seminars conducted with speakers and experts in their field to instil knowledge about the latest and upcoming trends in the industry.
In order to encourage leadership among student a webinar was conducted by Shri Anand Mahindra on 8th of January. The session was named India First Leadership Talk Series. It was an initiative taken by Ministry of Human Resource Development Innovation Cell. The talk was for a progressive India and the steps individual should take in order to be more entrepreneurial in their approach.
· The greatest takeaway would be the phrase used “Juggad to Jhakaas”. His view was that previously when India was in the stage of development Juggaad was acceptable but now is the time of technological innovation.
· He spoke about transformational leadership and how it is important especially for small business houses. It is with the that kind of leadership there will be a change much required.
· He also spoke about why one should speak about failures rather than success. It is failure which of greater importance to know the loopholes and work on it.
· He laid great emphasis on the fact that it is innovation which will create entrepreneurs.
It is a session like this which imbibe students with enthusiasm and willingness to work hard towards their dream. It tells them the mindset one should have and needs to acknowledge in order to have a better life ahead.
