i wish to apply to iim for fpm programmes.
but my dilemna is that i m yet to take gate exam which is scheduled in feb n results will b in march
what shall i write in the application form mentioning the qualifying exam. n wat abt the recommendations
I have a lot of confusions about the FPM programme. I'm a fresher and I'm in doldrums about applying for FPM. Here's my profile:
CAT Score : 99.61
Xth: 94.4 %age
XIIth : 83.2%age
Grads : Chem Engineer
GPA: Will be around 7.0 by June.
Calls from IIM C , IIM K (as of now)
No Projects or seminars or conferences in anything remotely related to economics.BUT..
Interested in Finance and thinking about a Phd
With such a bland profile and only a decent CAT score, do I stand chances of an FPM conversion at either A, B or C?
@varun.jindal , that thread is becoming heavy . So we can start a new one here . I have not submitted any score to IIM - I as RAT was the eliminator . However I will do submit the score of GMAT when I take it in February . What about you buddy ?

I have heard that there are so many issues and clashes between FPM Students and IIM Calcutta's Management and Faculty...
The FPM students dont get the fellowship amount properly and they have to go through a lot.........

In IIM rhotak fpm eligibilty criteria For engineering graduates without post-graduation, a minimum of two years of relevant research work experience is required. I am a fresher CAT 90.66 , xth - 87, xii- 90. btech= 80. since i dont have any research work should i apply ?? help

Interview dates for IIM Calcutta FPM has been announced and it would be on 26 and 27 March 2014. The shortlists would be released in another 15-20 days time.

Any idea when or how long do they usually take to announce the shortlisted candidates for the RAT or Interview and when would be the RAT/ Interview at IIMB? Are the shortlisted candidates list posted on IIMB website... Please share any info you might have... and best wishes to you all...
