 Pagalguy is basicaaly a Question-Answer forum i.e.Reactive/Reactionary type. We can come to know about some info only if a query regarding the same is posted. That's why I want to know if there is some blog/site which publish article related to CAT/FPM preparation (like mrunal.org for UPSC). This type of websites can serve as a proactive source of information.

Anybody aware of what kind of profile one needs to get into PHD from FMS, Delhi? What preparation one must do?

I  am currently working in banking industry for last 4 years. Completed MBA in 2012. Now, I aspire for FPM to pursue career in academics. 

I understand that the same needs to be done through an entrance test i.e. GMAT or CAT.

Now, need some clarification on the following areas - 

1. Are there any other subject/ area specific tests that are conducted ?

2. Do I need to prepare any basic research proposal / literature review before I apply for the same?

3. my interest is in marketing (since, it was specialization in PG as also currently working in the same field ). So, which colleges can be recommended in this area.

You help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Currently i am working with a Manufacturing company as a zonal HR. I have an experience of 4 years(3 years prior to MBA and 1 year after MBA. I want to do PhD/FPM from a reputed institute in HR. I have seen IIM B FPM . Can somebody help me out regarding Cutoffs for different exams and How to prepare? Request to throw some light on IIM B exam for FPM program. Reason to do FPM- Always interested in research, not satisfied with analytical work done in inudstry, also interested in teaching pursuits later

UG: B.E CSE from SSN College of Engineering Chennai 73% 

PG: PGP from IIM Indore 

 Work experience: Prior to my MBA (PGP), I worked in IT company for 30 months as a Software Engineer and now I’m currently working as a Global Engagement Manager in the same company.
I’m exposed to IT and Presales role and I have a strong interest in Analytics domain. After working for 3+ years in corporate, I have decided to become an academician by pursuing FPM from reputed institute.

· Before Joining FPM, do I need to have any strong backup to support my idea of joining FPM?
