Hi There,"Would like few of the seniors commenting upon how correct the info is....." Anyone else (especially seniors) commenting? Just a bit jittery here since I am in waitlist 😃 Hope I do not irritate anyone with this since this may concern only a minority (according to above...15). Also incase I get in, do the laptops require wi-fi? (ie) Is Wi-Fi present on campus? Thanks.
Dude what I can tell you is that incase you have been waitlisted for the course at SIMS, that is more or less a guarentee that you will make it to SIMS..........and how can I say that.....hmmmm..........actually from watever info that I got regarding the waitlist I have come to know that the waitlist is really very small.....i mean there are only abt 15 students in the waitlist right now and that is the reason why no waitlist nbr has been given.....the intake of the instt is 240 and considering that there atleast have be 15 people who will be opting out from some other instt other than SIMS.......
So you should start preparing for coming down to pune, to SIMS.........
after this waitlist though, if there are more cancellations of admns ( which again there's a huge probabilty that there will be) students are sent individual intimation........

Totally agree with you.
There should be the excitement of discovering things on our own, the apprehension of what life would be like at SIMS......I mean guys lets just get out there ourselves and find things on our own......thats such a lot of fun.........
The Seniors have been really kind.......lets give them a break.......and just restrict our queries to really important things that we must know before joining in....all the other things just lets wait and get to see on our own.........
However, with due respect to you I don't think that I agree with what you said about us acting too Immature.I believe that you used too strong a word. I mean we all are really excited about our good result and really keen to start on with our life at SIMS......its just another way to show that SIMS really is a good instt and that we all are really excited about it........
And people my batch 2006-08 lets mantain our dignity and ask only really sensible questions....if any.......

AMAZING 2 see how one serious post by me have changed the whole mood of the grp.....my post wasn't targeted at any specific person it was for all of u....but still i think things like these should happen b4 u guys come here....it makes a strong bond between all u guys..... really felt good 2 see u guys cheering, consoling n cooling ur batchmates.........

so I hope finally things are ok now.....It will really be good if we don't have any further posts about the issue.....Its History so just lets forget all about it......
Seniors we realise that we have been asking the same questions over and over again and there were a few questions that really weren't reqd......So in order to avoid any such future situation may i request you to please just brief us all about the stuff that we should know b4 coming to SIMS.......I mean anything that you think is important and it would be better that we know about it before hand....be it what all should we be prepared for...mentally....
You guys would know better since you were in our situation just a year back.......
That ways we will get all the info that we need at this point of time plus when we finally join SIMS we will discover the rest of the things ourselves..........
Basically asking you for guidelines as to what we should do from now till the time we join SIMS..................stuff like do pple like me from Engg Background need to probably go through ACCOUNTS of Class 11th and 12th so that its easier for us there............????

As it happened after posting on the other thread, i realised that this one was more frequented...so i copy pasted from there to here...again simply acting out of generosity. If someone trying to help leads to so much of miscommunication and bad blood, where the hell are we all going. Future managers?! Future batchmates guys....thats what we are. Let there be no further animosity created here, its not gonna help anyone...
