The avg salary was arnd 5.2 lacs.....the highest domestic being 8lacs and the internation about 10 lacs......... and i believe that a fresher got the 8lac package........ hope it clears ur doubts

HIghest Package is 12 Lakhs - and that was lateral placement.
and yes freshers too have got placements of arnd 10 Lakhs (CTC) so this makes all the more exciting
@EKA - I think ur mind was and infact still in a state of perennial confusion and this is proably ur immaturity which ur are potraying.

hey seniors at sims, can you please tell me how many final calls have been sent out this year also how many candidates have been waitlisted. This question is for those guys who have got the call letter. Please type in whatever is written in the letter. Such as what is the last date for the first installment of the fees, etc. And seniors, please tell us when the calls for the waitlisted people will be released. What is meant by the study material in the letter as mentioned in one of the earlier posts? And what is the rules about the shirts as mentioned by maverick_sahil? Lot more questions to ask but will ask after these are answered by someone.
calling sims seniors to the rescue! i have got final calls from both sims and nirma. but i am really confused between the two......as i believe both the institutes are equally good! And the last date of depositing the fees in both the insti. is same............. which is fast approaching. i need to know where do sims stands in the comparison.
hi My joining date is also the 2nd of july. and i definitely want the answers to the sari etc questions. so does anybody about the hostel thing ? as in if we are allotted roommate A and we want to shift in with roommate B so then do they allow or not? and if they don't allow kya andar andar mein hi adjusting done or not? oh and one more q: is there a place where we can see the list of students joining thew 2006-08 batch. if we want to chk a few names?

We are seeing a lot of people in double minds about joing SIMS specially now that they are getting other instts results as well.....I'd just like to say that just take your decision in a calm and composed manner.....do enough spade work...and in the end dnt expect the instt to do eberything for you....in the end its not the instt but your own hard work ,your dedication and your effort that is going to take you places......So don't worry too much abt the instt that u chose......cause I believe that I alrdy said it once before..... In India there are only 2 categories of MBA instts....the IIMs and the Non- IIMs..... so as long as it is not an IIM,every instt falls under the same category......... ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE........ ya just one request...people who have to make choices...do let us know if you decide to give up SIMS....would do good to people like BRAINIAC.....in the waitlist.....will tell him what his chances are........
Hello people Good morning to u all its 4 in the morning and 4 of us r here to congratulate all those who have made it to SIMS and are going to join it. We are glad to see that ppl with passion and zeal are joining SIMS. Before we clarify certain things and give gyan we as fellow SIMSites know for a fact that if u ppl work with the same vigor in SIMS nothing can stop u and sky is the limit.
Now for some facts The HIGHEST package was 12 lacks but actually one of the students who had a lateral placement and had experience in the defense forces got a package of 14 lacks in HSBC. The average was 5.2 lacks.
