hey all well sorry but had some prob with the comp so was not in touch with u plp thru the grp...well jsut went thru all the posts tht i had missed....first of all this is a request to tribha ...since u r planing to go to sims as mentioned by sonal and others do enquire abt the dress code thing and it would b better if can spk to some female seniors i guess they would b the best plp to give us the gyan on this coz the latest news by some1 tht only salwar suit and no jeans thing is really weird so plz confirm tht and also if possible do visit the hostel and find out the kind of facilities there so tht we can make the rest of the arrangements accordingly...thnx a lot.....
and now for this whole placement thing goin on ....hey plp its good to have such discussion btu dont u all think it would b better tht we discuss some other healhty topics instead of these controversial things coz i beleive the bottom line is that sal figure and placments all depends on ur hardwork...3L,5l.....12 L doesnot make a diff if we r not good enuf then past placments records of 5.2 L avg doesnot help ...so lets forget all the and now we should try and work towards making our batch of 2006-08 the batch tht shall hold the record of highest placemnets ever....so all the ebst and realle lookign forward to meeting this grp of enthu plp in july

Dont know what to say abt this placement stuff.But I support Manisha's views on it.WHy are U guys so worried about placements...I mean dont U have faith in urself.No company is gonna take U if U do not have it in U ,no matter from wherever U r(Even if U r from IIMs)..U have done well to get ito SIMS which means 1 hurdle is cleared..Now try to put ur act together and do ur well here so that U get placed in a good company with a good package.Just because a guy got 14Lacks doesnt mean U would get the same and just because someone was not placed doents mean that evan u would not be placed.The fact that someone got placed at 14L itself shows that U can also do the same if U work hard.....SO,just do that...And if U dont wanna work hard then just keep ur fingers crossed...God is the word for U.........

I called the SIMS office now. I think I got more information from here . I asked the person answering the phone about the people in the waitlist and he told pandrah - bees hoga. (I think it means...15 to 20) And my guess is pretty good in that they will tell about the waitlist after this 30th. When I asked about how they would reach me, he told by mail or by phone 
??:. The problem with my phone is that I works at times only. Hopefully I get the news. Well thats all news that I have gathered. Hoping to catch up with all of you, out there in Pune. Bye.

i have missed a lot during past few weeks when i was busy doing nuthing n i missed out a lot of action here.........nayeee log puranii bateinnn..n moi not going to start off on any GYAN STUFF..cazz apna beduu raghavv hai uskee liyae.... ..well people gyan vyan apna forte nahin hai..mastt rahooo..jo puchna hai puchoo..but pehle sare post pad loo...u know its simple enufff it pissess off the people k gadae murddae ukhadae ja rae hain..which weere laid to rest long time ago..n for ol pagalsssss..plz b patient yaarr....am i giving gyan i think so..

reading loads of novels...some good ones i read are da vinci code,angel n demons,digital fortress (all by dan brown) then latest one five point someone (chetan somebudy)...now i am reading snapshots from hell the making of an MBA (peter robinson...if i remember correctly)..nxt in line 6 thinking hats (bono)...side by side also reading inscrutible americans...
so thats that...

As far as i knw muvin in2 da hostel b4 ur joinin date i.e 1st july wud not b possible.i say dis coz v've been askd 2 report on a certain date so dat prior arrangements can b made......d rooms r vacated etc moreovr other logistics involved can b taken care off.V r 2 b alloted our rooms on d date of joinin.....so based on dis i guess muvin in b4 dat wud not be a possibility.But nvrtheless y don't u get in touch wid da SIMS ppl....if u hv a genunine reason at hand.....they mite jus help u!!!

2. what about the dark suits for guys..someone had said k they'll b taking money from us n getting it made so as to maintain uniformity..but in the call letter its mentioned that we gotta have one before reaching sims?:
3. are we supposed to get any kind of confirmation regarding the finalisation of our admissions.:robot:
4. what would be the tentative cost for one month i mean all the costs including xeroxs,printouts,assignment files n that stuff...approximate figure?? :grab:

Just thought that would let you know that MICA results are out sooner than they were expected and it so happens that my name doesn't appear in the final list,even though my interview went really well....guess i messed up in the MICAT....Newways no regrets, i still have a gr8 coll to look fwd to ...SIMS...now just haveto make sure that I perform to the best of my abilities and make the best of all the oppurtunites that come my way.........
