Wonderin if neone cud help me out wit ths.
I'm a son of a defence personnel & I have completed my BE with 57%
But I have not completed my BE degree in the first attempt.
The website:snaptest.org says that the eligibility criteria for admission to SIMS is 50% or more marks in aggregate of full time bachelor's level degree through 10+2+3/4 mode, in single attempt, from a statutory university.But SIMS website(sims.edu) doesn't say anything about the number of attempt.
Also could neone explain the meaning of single attempt.(no KTs or wat??)

yes its doesnt say anything abt the no. of attempts i wud suggest to apply to the institute... and prepare hard to get gud score to get shortlisted.... best of luck

I have applied for snap 2007 under the defence personnel category.
However I am in a dilemma now.
My father has eight years of Army service and is an ex-service man according to the rules when he came out of army on request.Also he is not a pensioner.
Please suggest if I am eligible under this category.

hey man do one ting if u can just call sims and you would get all the information u want. because this is very complicated and a person with valid Army info can give u the details. so my advice will be call Sims or visit sims

the institute is entirely for Defence dependent so no other reservations appflied here 80% is for defence dependents.... 10% for industrial sponsored rest for officers... best of luck

cant tell u d figures but it wud still be healthy figure that one gets from top B School.... SIMS as its reputation amongst top B Schools and corporates i m sure we wud surpass d previous figures easily.....
Guyz my best wishes for of U give ur best shot in examz and start preparing for GD and PI .... it will not be easy... go through newspapers every day.... read read and read.... thats d only key ....

yup first battle is over.... i was dere while it ws goin on.... in college... luked at lot of questions.... frm LR n GK .... n thy were easy.... also had a word wid some students who wrote it.... cant say nythin abt d cutoff.... but i m sure it wil go up frm last year's cutoff ....

last yers'z cutoff was abt 54.... dis yr it wud be around 60-62... dats my guess
hi shreya......yeah u r rite ...cut off was arnd 50 ....but prob this time around its expected to be on the higher side.........bcoz SNAP exam was relatively easy than last time............and sims is under SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY so you will get degree instead of diploma this time ...........average package is also approx 7
