There r very fiew people who apply (quota) so cuttoff last year was 45 one of my friend had got call!! this year also it will come down surely!! i had 52 last year and was rejected after GDPI!!

have a small query.could anyone please let me know how many seats are there in the general category in sims or all the seats are covered under some quota.......and how much is the score for general quota if there are any seats in general quota.....................i have 2.5 yrs of work ex ......will it be of any help to get a call??

see for all SYMBIOSIS institutes a gdpi call depends upon the complete profile of the students... specially academics ..... work ex.... n all so there is a possibility dat a person having high snaps score is not getting d call .... n vice versa..... so chk d academics of ur frnd...

they have 50%- SNAP score
15% - GD
15% -PI
or something like this.. if u know plz let me know....
n as per cutoff is concerned it largely depends upon number of people applying....
this is a reply to nishaant and for all those with queries on the quota 4 the general n defense junta...
they have a 80% reservation fr defense candidates.....
none for general...if u do want to get thru and are frm the general category u have to apply fr the management quota(around 15%),but will not be eligible fr final placements,so no point!...
for defence ppl,if u r a fresher and have screwd up CAT this is the college to be in!
for work ex,u r given a prefernce if u a r a defence candidate,they ask u bout ur work in the sims PI........

Is that really true?? I have heard that management quota students are also given chance to go for Final placements!!! i would like to know if SIMS does not allow such people to go for final placementa

thats what the sims authorities have told...also if givena chance,it is likely at the end when the defence guys are through,so it is unlikely to get a good placement in the end!.......contact the sims authorities for exact details.their no is given at their site...

but other than tht i have done bout m not so sure but about 75 questions wit almost 90% accuracy cud u plz tell me whether a zero in maths wud make a diff to my call??? m very worried plz help out!!!

SIMS does not have tht bandwidth to entertain sectional- cutoffs...
so dont worry.. with the above stated attempts n accuracy u will fetch a call...
but yes ... u may b asked in the interview the reason...
try careerforum.in , they have an analysis of the SNAP paper and also come out with expected cut off 's which have been fairly reliable over the years.
