Please tell me which is the best book for the bank clerk exam preparations?
guys have you people got caste certificate in central govt format in my state karnataka they say they dont give in that format and instead given a letter print out which says to accept the caste certificate from our state our karnataka govt give this print out .

my intrw ws on ystrdy. i ws asked diffrnce btween cheque and dd n abut nw bank that is BMB. inrw panel ws very frndly i hd a nice intrw.. no more banking qutions...asked about father nd native place completed within 5 min. nd ws offered a toffee😃
my sis too had her intrw yserday in the sm panel. she ws asked about state (rajasthan) total district, river, dam etc. ATB to ol 👍

A large number of candidates who had applied for probationary officer and management trainee vacancies in banks but did not get jobs despite clearing both the written test and interview have been sitting on a hunger strike near Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi's residence for the past four days seeking his intervention in the matter.The protesters, who have come together under the banner of IBPS Rank Holders Forum as they had appeared for the recruitment process of IBPS-PO/MT-2 (Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection- Probationary Officer/Management Trainee-2), have pointed out that IBPS, an autonomous body authorised by Indian Banks Association, had received mandate from 19 public sector banks to conduct written examination and interview for probationary officer (PO) / management trainee (MT).However, despite clearing the tests, nearly 18,000 of the 48,000 candidates who were selected have not been able to secure their jobs. Their pleas for immediate recruitment, they insist, have not been heard either at the level of administration of IBPS, participant bank or the Union Ministry concerned.The selected candidates are on a hunger strike for the past 4 daysThey seek extension of merit list which expires by March 2014

IS RBI A GOVT BANK?( I am askin this because all we hear about it is that it is a central bank and nationalized and mentioned as govt agency?)
IS RBI UNDER CONTROL OF GOVT?( I am askin this bcos inspite of Fin MIN askin 4 rates to be reduced so that industries can start expandin and get out of sluggishness but successive RBI governors have not done so bcos reducing interest rate will again increase liquidity and in turn increase inflation and RBI has a responsibility to see to it that inflation does not increase)
And I have heard people talkin about banks as public sector banks and pvt,rrb..and so on but never heard them being called as govt banks.yes sbi n subsidiaries and 19 others were nationalized but being nationalized does it mean they are govt banks and are they under the control or autonomous?
And finally would u call the nationalized banks as govt banks?is it right 2 use the word govt or not
And is Bharatiya Mahila bank nationalized?
