I am expecting a score of 70+..... but i'd like to know if SIIB has sectional cutoffs??

hi......as far my knowledge goes, there isn't any sectional cut-off...............unless the brouchre specifies so..............70+ is a good score and with a good profile (a healthy mix of work-ex and acads), U can very well get a call.All the best!

I am a bit confused abt the cut-off. It is mentioned that cut-off is 76.5 for OC. Is this the cumulative score of snap+academics+Work exp+ Extra curri or only from snap

76.5 score was for snap for freshers ...
but ppl with work ex.. do have weightages ...
ppl with xcellent acada and professionally qualifeid ppl like engineers, CA etc do have weightages.. meaning.. if u have scored (last year around 70).. candidates got the call .. last yr..
so this yr snap cut off for siib will be around 70 expected... let see...
but weightages will be there...

there is no sectional cut off for SIIB ...

I have registered online for SIIB... but dint get it what i have to do after that...
Can u seniors pls explain of the Online process is fully online(i mean also pay online ) or do i have to buy a form physically..

You have to take a DD for Rs.1200/- in favour of The Director, Symbiosis Institute of

International Business, Payable at Pune. Write your snap id, name and contact address to

which the prospectus( which will have the application form too) to the following address.

Symbiosis Institute of International Business
Symbiosis Infotech Campus, Phase I,
Plot No. 15, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, MIDC, Hinjewadi, Pune 411 057

Hi I dint get what you were saying . Are SIIB forms given in the centres such as TIME, IMS etc just as the forms for the other institutes are given ?:)

hey guys!!! u can get prospectus too from these institutes.... coaching centres like time cl etc...
but u have to register on siib online form....
i think on buying from coaching centres, u'll be giving out some payment there and rest through DD
if u r sending fee amount via DD, then u'll be sending full amount via DD
for furthur details.. plz contact SIIB admissions via phone call.....

if u r sending fee amount via DD, then u'll be filling DD number etc.. in online form..
i think i have cleared the doubt..
so before registering.. make DD or purchase prospectus from coaching centres...

Yes, send a DD (for Rs.1200 in case of General Category) with ur name, contact address, snap id....that wil do...

do one thing friends!!!
take the print out of that from ..... from SIIB website..
and send the DD along with it..
u'll get the acknowledgement in terms of SIIB brochure....(I mean SIIB will send u the brochure 2008-10)
this is the easy way....
but if u want to purchase from coaching centres, then get the brochure from there.....

Ok Guys... Celebration time here in SIIB - A premier B School... Something most of you guys would have been waiting for.... Finally we're done with Final Placements for our seniors..

And its been a Grand Success

AB and IB together out of 170 students 160 placed on Day Zero
