Going by the last year's trend,u've got a gr8 chance of getting a call....u shud go ahead and apply. :)
Ofcourse,SIIB is one of the top ranked b-skools in the country....it offers MBA in International Business (120 seats) and MBA in agri-business management (60 seats )

Well last year this is how it worked... We got our SNAP results... And then we add marks of work experience, Previous acads, Extra curricular activities and then come to a cut off for SIIB... Last year it was 76.5 for open.. But it will vary according to the difficulty level of the paper..There was no percentile as such... I think the same is applicable for all the symbiosis institutes... Each one has a different selection criteria... U dont have sectional cut offs but calls depend a lot on ur profile..Also be specific when u say symbiosis is ur dream institue.. there are many good institutes withtin the symbi brand name.. SIIB is an excellent place to come.. It has a very good brand name as well... But trust me Brand Name of a college will give u ur first job, but not ur carreer... That is something u need to make... 1) wat is meant by MBA in intl Business as every1 speaks abt it...it is meant to say it offers MBA degree & not PGDM..??? or somethin else....??? 2) Again wat is meant by "one can get intl exposure".... 3) main query is wat kind of job profile or work nature are offered by recruitors to those who r passin out from SIIB.....is it par with those of IIM pass outs or as a junior Business Analyst position or some other thing....???
plz elaborate on these queries.... also plz share if any SIIBians know more abt this.....??
bout my acads: Xth -62, XII th- 65, B.tech final yr 69 till now couple of extra curricular.
a)Awarded certificate of merit for test conducted by University of New South Wales for computer science knowledge and BASIC Programming. b) Written a research paper on Operating System with the title Concept of Object Oriented Operating System c) many quiz competition certificates till 12th.
should apply for any colg (sibm, scmhrd or siib) n what r the chances for a call from sibm
i am gettin 85 to 89 in my snap test according to pt answers
besides ths i m havin 78% in 10 73% in 12 n 76% in my btech
have taken part in various extracurricular activities bt having no work ex as my joining is in feb end...... :sad: so is thre any chances tht i can get the call frm siib??????????:sad:

With full knowledge of SIIB not into sectional cutoffs, i read in some thread that more weightage is given to QA/DI section in the "internal SIIB rank for GD/PI calls.. By scoring 3.75 in QA/DI, what are the chances of me getting a call if i just make it in the cutoff list (score of +/-70).. Contemplating of buying teh SIIB form or not... .
decent extracurriculars..played for cricket and football teams both in school college.. currently working in a MNC..have just joined though Snapscore :arnd 90 wat r my chances in SIIB??

As far as i know, there were no sectional cut-offs last year..so this year it might be the same. with ur score range,ur chances of getting a call are NOT ruled out..so i wud suggest u to go ahead and apply..ofcourse exact cut-offs wud depend upon the difficulty level of paper and no. of applicants vis-a-vis last year's

have merit certificates for being college topper 3 years in a row n also as an overall topper ncfm certified in fin markets 3harvard business school's online course certificates. apprciation certicates frm rajasthan graduates association for my acads

Ofcourse,if you have a degree in MBA in International business,ur chances of getting an international exposure are high as compared to a normal degree from any other b-school cos you'll be studying courses specific to IB viz Export-import mgmt,International marketing etc.

guys i got a big problem...pls help me....i bought a siib form from ims in chennai..but t form number is not printed clearly in the form the last two digits r not clear...but i know the form number...wat can i do..pls say...wen i contacted the ims center they said they cant do anything as they get the forms sealed...can i write the last two digits clearly with my black pen....pls rep soon guys...
