The max. marks awarded under each criteria were 3 or 4 .
For eg. u got 1 mark for each year of work-ex subject to an upper limit of 4.

So,even if u had a SNAP score of around 70 with a professional qualification
(CA/Engg.),work ex of 2-3years and decent acads..u wud have got a call

However, these criteria and weightages are for last year and they may be different for this year's process. :)

I hope this makes things clear for all the aspirants

Hi Kamal,

How did u manage to calculate ur exact score ?

As u wud be knowing, last year the aggregate cut-off was around 76.This year the total marks being reduced to 180....the cut-offs may be lower..so you do have a chance considering ur work -ex ...also it wud depend upon ur acads and professional qualification..

I wud recommend you to apply to SIIB and keep ur fingers crossed :)

All the best !

Cheers !!!

P.S-For queries related to any other SNAP college, pls post it on the institute specific thread

Hello..

Your chances of getting a call are very high .

Last year, the GDs were based on case studies where u were given 3-5 mins
to read and analyse the case and then approx 8-10 mins to discuss.

Hi Seniors,
I wanted 2 ask 3 questions.
Firstly,I wanted 2 know wht will be the expected cut-offs 4 SIIB this year...As i'm from reserved category(S.C) will the cut-offs be different from general category..If yes by how much...

Also wanted 2 know bout the fees & if loan facility is available..

Lastly,I hv done my B.E this year in telecommn but dont hv any work-exp,so do i hv a chance of getting in2 SIIB??wht is the profile of your batch..are there any freshers?

I'm posting this 4 the 2nd time...hope my queries are answered this time 😃

My profile

X th:-76.6
XII th:-57.4
BE:-66
WORK EX : Around 5 yrs as Business Developement Manager
snap score:-75-80

R there any chances of getting call from SIIB..

while applying to SIIB online, im supposed to enter my work ex details.
what end-date am i supposed to consider while specifying my work ex ?

considering i started working from AUG 06 & im working continuously untill now, how many year-months am i supposed to write as my work ex ?

Hi hemdeep,

For specifu=ying your work ex count from Aug 06 to the date you are going to work.
e.g If it is Dec 07, then count till Dec 07
or
If you are sure of working till Jan 08 or Mar 08 , then count till that particular month.
But be sure of what you are entering.

Best of luck.Welcome to SIIB...

Hi,

Last year cut off was 76.It has weightage for your acads and exerience.
If you have bright acad. record u stand a good chance of getting call from SIIB.

The max. marks awarded under each criteria(X, XII, work ex) were 3 or 4 .

However, these criteria and weightages are for last year and they may be different for this year's process.

I hope this makes things clear for you.
