My snap went ok expecting around 70 and have acads of all 10th, 12th as well as grad always in between 70 to 75 % with no work ex do i hav a chance as far as SIIB is concerned?????

my frnd, as u hav decent acad record, good (predicted)snap score,u stand a bright chance of getting call from SIIB.,
Work ex is just one criteria, not the sole criteria for admission.
The current batch @ SIIB has good no. of frehser students.
Apply to SIIB.

thanks so much for reply...that is really encouraging indeed.. 😃 i wanted to know how is SIIB.... since u r in that college no better person to ask this..... is it really good !!! actually have heard a lot abt SIBM n SCMHRD but hardly do ppl speak abt SIIB....:neutral: thogh i know a lot abt it now since i have read this thread ... I m a fresher doi BBM n i have very good academic record!!! :)
i want ur views on this... do u think SIIB is worth investing money.... I want to decide soon... so kindly help...

Since u've already purchased the prospectus, u shud enter the 'prospectus procurement mode' as 'Other'...and yeah,u shud send the CL receipt along with the form...i wud suggest keep a xerox copy for ur reference :)

hi , my query similar to the earlier fresher one , iam expecting a score of more than 80 marks in the just concluded snap , iam a fresher but when i will be joining (that is if i get the chance to join ) iam currently not working so it would look like a one year gap between completion of graduation and joining although my graduation results came very late around sept end . Will it act as hindrance to my chances , please advise me .

With full knowledge of SIIB not into sectional cutoffs, i read in some thread that more weightage is given to QA/DI section in the "internal SIIB rank for GD/PI calls..
By scoring 3.75 in QA/DI, what are the chances of me getting a call if i just make it in the cutoff list (score of +/-70)..
Contemplating of buying teh SIIB form or not...

No...i don't think that it will act as any hindrance to ur chances of final selection as long as u can answer any questions asked to you abt it with confidence in the interview..u mite be asked questions as to what u were doing in this period and how did u use ur time...so be prepared to ans. such queries and be convinced urself before u can convince the panel :)

Hi Tarun,
Its very tough for us to predict the cut-offs but keeping in mind the last year's trend and the pattern of SNAP '07..u do have an outside chance of getting a call...Do apply and hope for the best !

The cut-off last year was 76.5 for MBA-IB
Please go through the previous posts on this thread to know how this was calculated...You do have a chance of getting shortllisted for the next round...ATB :)

definitely.. friend.. u must apply.. urscore is gud.
u'll get a call...provided ur fellow candidates had nt done snap too gud so as snap cut off for SIIB increases,,,
bt dont worry..
u have high chances of getting call...
for this yr onwards.. fee will be 4.55 for 2 yr MBA IB course..
