Hi friend... though ur expected score is on lower side... so chances solely on the basis of snap are slim... but u never know... but ur acads are gud. 12th and grad... so u have a fair chance.. cut offs cannot be predicted.. and SIIB give weightages to acads also... so keep ur finger cross and apply !!!!! if selected, u can prove urself in Phase II(GD PI) last year's cut off was 76.5 for gen. category for IB course and around 55 for AB course two courses are offered by SIIB MBA IB International Business' MBA AB Agri Business Management
Under IB course, u have 4 spls which are >>> Marketing,Fin,HR and SCM

Just to add to what nadeem said, I feel U can consider the option of AB..............with your BSc background, U can do wonders...........moreover the course has a very strong demand in a country like India............
With full knowledge of SIIB not into sectional cutoffs, i read in some thread that more weightage is given to QA/DI section in the "internal SIIB rank for GD/PI calls.. By scoring 3.75 in QA/DI, what are the chances of me getting a call if i just make it in the cutoff list (score of +/-70).. Contemplating of buying teh SIIB form or not... .

I just had a word with admissions at office ..there is no sectional cut-offs for giving out the calls...and there is no extra weightage given to the QA/DI section..so u can very well go ahead and apply :)

AB stands for Agri business............significant stress is laid on agri related subjects apart from general management. As the agri sector in India is getting more and more organized, there is a huge demand for these managers in the industry and SIIB surely falls among the pioneers in this realm.the institute website gives the placement figures for last year. The current figures are lot more impressive.......I cannot disclosev them though!!i hope it answers your query...........do hit the institute website for details of the course....
Hello I knw SIIB is a gud institute. I don't doubt placements figure. But I have certain apprehensions 1) Hw gud is Faculty? 2) Mostly students passing out from SIIB get wat sort of profile and job. 3) Hw is MBA international Business different from PGDM/PGDBM ? Y 1 should opt for MBA in IB?
expecting around 75-76.in the exam instead of canditate's signature i signed in the box where the invigilator was to sign.i told him what happ.he signed over my signature.although all my other details are correct(snap id,centre etc) i am really worried whether my OMR will be disqualified. guys, me really tensed.what'l happen.VERY FRANK OPINIONS EXPECTED!
i m expecting around 65 marks in snap, i have averag acads 66% in engg, and 80% in both 12th and 10th i have no work ex but decent extra currics, meaning that i have organised some events at college and state level.. should i expect calls from siib? another query is that, since i purchased two symbi forms together, PT people have given me a single receipt for both the forms, in one of the posts someone mentioned that we need to send the reciept?

so dear.. u have lots of questions..lemme answer them one by one..1. very good permanent faculty and awesome visiting faculty.u can check our website for more info. on faculty.....our visiting faculty consists of industry ppl .2.almost every kind of profile is offered to SIIBians...say sales, mktg,research,consultant etc...3.MBA IB is different as we study subjects related to International Business as well.for ex. we study.. Foreign Trade Policy,International Trade and Logistics,Import mgmt,Export mgmt,Foreign Laguages,Exim Procedures,International Marketing etc....

ur score is gud man!!!!u can definitely expect call from SIIB...regarding what happened with u on examination day...i dont think so it will craete any problem provided u wrote snap id correctly and filled the bubbles within the oval for answers...best of luck...

ur expected marks are decent.... and ur acads in 10th and 12th are also gud..so u might get a calll.. keep ur finger crossed...since xtracurricular activites doesnot play any role for call at SIIB, but surely, once u get a call, ur xtracurricular activites can help u sailing through interview...

regarding receipt for 2 forms that u bought..u can send the photocopy of the receipt.. to SIIB.. and do write at the back that u purchased two diff forms...i hope ur problem will be solved

hi pal,ths time the cutoff for SIIB is expctd to b 70+, however i'll recommend u to fill up the form for the institute as your work ex may be an advntge for u.try ur best and keep ur fingers crssdgood luck
