I am actually confused with the procedure to apply to SIIB... I have purchased the prospectusfrom IMS.... now what next....
Can someone tell me the procedure to apply.....

nad_hyd Saysso dear.. u have lots of questions..lemme answer them one by one..1. very good permanent faculty and awesome visiting faculty.u can check our website for more info. on faculty.....our visiting faculty consists of industry ppl .2.almost every kind of profile is offered to SIIBians...say sales, mktg,research,consultant etc...3.MBA IB is different as we study subjects related to International Business as well.for ex. we study.. Foreign Trade Policy,International Trade and Logistics,Import mgmt,Export mgmt,Foreign Laguages,Exim Procedures,International Marketing etc....
hi meetjyotika,whether to go for a pgdm or any othr course depends on your intrst as well.howevr, as nadeem said that u'll get an opprtnty to study some courses on international business and international finance. the faculty comprise of highly exprncd pple who r also consultnts. so remove ur apprhnsns regarding the quality of education.good luck

hi AK,as u've bought the form from IMS u'ld b having a receipt of the same from IMS. u need to log on to the website - Welcome to SIIB and register online simultaneously fill up the form and send to the institute along with the reciept.aur photocopy bhej dena yaar!!! play safe.tc

hi,i think that there are not seperate process for ab/ib.u'll have an option for applying to both the courses in one form by paying some additional fees. so if u don't get admission to ib u may b considered for ab. however for this year u need to confirm wid the collge.best of luck
hi i made a mistake in the online form. intially i clicked SIIB thinking that i will send a demand draft but now i have bought the form from PT, though i changed it now. but can't confirm, also initially i don't know how i missed to enter my state, now i'm trying but after submitting the form again it is not showing.now help me to rectify this problem pls!!!

I am plannin 2 apply 2 SIIB
My work ex is as follows:
Jun'05-Jul'06- Citifinancial Consumer finance India (as a Relationship manager)
Sept'07 till date- Mudra Communications Pvt ltd (as a Management trainee)
Between Aug'06 to aug'07 i was assisting my father with his business (mktg & distribution of books).
Does SIIB accept family business work ex, if so wat document am i suppose to provide with the application form? Or shd i mention only my corporate work experience.
Request the seniors/admission desk to please help me out with this.

And is the college worth or shud concentrate on XAT as I heard that only SIBM and SCMHRD are only the colleges to go 4 in Snap

lastly if any intermediate round is an elimination round in selection process?

I purchased the SIIB Prospectus from IMS, registered on SIIB site and send the Application Form along with self address slip dully filled. I didn't enclose any IMS receipt or SNAP Admit Card photo copy or any X, XII documents.
Kindly let me know was it mandatory to send these documents. If Yes, is it possible to send it now.

Send the dd ASAP...preferably thru speed-post...and do mention ur name and address where u want the prospectus to be sent....u still have around 2 weeks to submit the form...i don't think there shud be any problem

see.. its very difficult to predict wat the cutoff this year is gonna be .... but goin by last year's cutoff, i guess u shuld apply and just hope for the best

yes symbiosis accepts work ex in family business.... a certificate mentioning ur workex on your company's letter head will be sufficient....

Hi Arun,
You have a decent profile and i feel if you get that score in snap, you have good chance of getting call for the abm course (based on last year's cutoff) ..
and regarding your last query, none of the intermediate rounds is elimination round....
