couple of questions, i would like to answer..
1. if u are expecting a snaps core of more than 65. then u have a chance for a call. (though cut offs can't be projected..)..its relative.
2.if u think u can study harder next time, then do take a break. (its ur call...)and yes work ex does play an imp. role for selection(admissions) as well as for final placements in any B-school such as SIIB.
3.regarding work ex.. certificate. to be sent...
dont leave ur job dear.. ur latest salary slip and the offer letter will fulfill the condition..
4.for any admisssion realted query such as work ex. or form nt getting updated. do call SIIB admissions raether than mailing... its an advice...

For q 3....work ex certificate has to be sent while sendin appln form & receipt OR it has to be shown durin GD/PI process....

receipt has to be sent (if bought from IMS etc..) otherwise DD has to be sent..
regarding work ex. certi,plzz call SIIB admisisons for clarifications...though i believe ,this time , certi is required at the time of GD/PI

whats the prospects for freshers .....i want a frank answer . like the ighest salary and athe lowest salaray...specially the lowest ...was there any foreign placement.if yes which company offerd it and how many position was offered...whats the current placement scenario for the 2008 batch...i am getting a good cat score of 100+....got profile of 75% through out ....btech freshers placed at infosys.... .good snap score of 75+ may be 80+ also...please convince me why should i apply to siib...coz lots of people are saying thats its not worth applying ....but still i want to learn the correct picture frm ur side...reply as soon as possible

why one should apply to SIIB, there are many reasons for that..
1. Its a b-school with focus on international business.
2. Regarding placements , plzz check our website.. ,u'll come to know the companies visited last year and salary, profile they offered to SIIBians..
3. This year ,160 (both IB and AB batches) out of 170 got placed on day 0 itself in various companies..
4.Comapnies which visited this year are already posted on this thread itself... plzz check ..,though the complete list is yet to b compiled. placements, this yr were fantastic...figures will be out soon..
so dont worry, for freshers also, SIIB is nt a bad choice

how is IB finance diff from normal finance offered at other good B-school
kindly can u post the lowest salary for the batch of ib....plus if u go by reputaion siib is still not that reputated..fortune 500 companies do not visit the campus....even indian fortune 500 like ioc..which visits sibm and schmrd ...even sibm and schmrd have companies like jpmorgan , goldman which are missing in siib...kindly throw some light about the consultance firms

secondly, every institute has some pros and cons..
so its upto u , which inst. u prefer...
IB finance covers international aspects of finance as well. otherwise, most of the things remain same..

the problem is not that it is not showing, it is showing everything, but when u select one option and submit, it is visible then confirm, log out and log in next time you will find the everything proper except for this field which is automatically resetted to default asking again to select the industry/sector.

if on the print layout,industry sector is nt showing, then its a problem.. otherwise, if ur able to see industry sector name as selected by u on the printed version(which has to be sent)... then its completely fine as u r supposed to send print out only...

genrally i think u should have one year of full time exp to qualify for lateral placements...in some cases it may be 2 yrs ...but not more than 2
