Dear, if on the print layout,industry sector is nt showing, then its a problem.. otherwise, if ur able to see industry sector name as selected by u on the printed version(which has to be sent)... then its completely fine as u r supposed to send print out only... dont worry...

But in the brochure nothing of this sort has been written. there they have given one form which we need to send and this nothing has they mentioned regarding this online form print out and the receipt, or have i missed out reading it. Please confirm....

I mean hw many months work ex is considered for Lateral Placement Also can u plz throw some light on the lateral placements avg sal. and highest sal. the profile offered to students with work ex. I knw its quite early to ask all these but even then..........

I think that u shud change ur approach to look into an institute... see I understand that u are eager to know about salary to freshers in SIIB... it is always on the lower to median side... thats a fact... it even happens in an iim... but the bottom line is that the package offered to a fresher in ANY institute solely depends on ones performance in the institute... and I feel that it will be more challenging for a candidate to perform in the institute than to get a seat in it... so my suggestion to u is to think about performing in the institute.... it will be of no use if u fail to perform in an institute... and plzz no one is sitting here to convince u why u shud apply... this is completely ur call and u have to decide whether u shud apply or not depending on ur capability... and one more thing.. wid a score of 75 i dont think one wud be 100% sre to get a call.. it all depends upon SIIB whether they want to give u a call, not on u whether u want to apply in SIIB... i hope u understand this...
I dont know what mistake I have made my making the payment of all the Institutes thry snaptest.com but I am yet to recv the prosp of scmhrd and siib yet.It has been nearly 2 months.Inspite of repeatedly getting assurance from scmhrd and siib over phone that I will get the prospectus but no results.I will request anyone to please address this issue.Please look at the below chain of mails and you will get all the details. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am yet to receive my prospectus for SIIB and SCMHRD. Dear Sir/Madam, I applied for SNAP test on 26th October, 2007 through www.snaptest.org . At the same time I also ordered for the prospectus of the following institute:
SCMHRD
SIBM
SIIB
Altogether I paid Rs.4450 through Credit Card. Although I received the SIBM Prospectus, I havent yet received the SCMHRD and SIIB Prospectus. When I called the above 2 Institutes Admission Office, they told that they have not received any request for my SNAP ID 785112. I believe there has been some mistake. If the form is available with the brochure which u have bought, then just fill the from and send....no probs there, i believe

there is no as such eligibilty criteia for laterals..it depends upon company to company..bt genrally, 18-24 months makes u eligible.. provided u have relevant work ex.all details regarding profiles and placement figures are available on our website...plzz check it..last yr highest sal for laterals was 11.75

Can you please reveal the relative weightage of various sections of SNAP. I am not insisting on giving the absolute weightage. Please provide it, if possible. It will further let us analyze about our prospects of getting SIIB calls.

Hello everyone Lots of thngs have been discussed in the few days i have been away. Bt i wil try to touch them best to my knowledge. Firstly, the lowest salary for last year's placements was arnd 4L per annum. The median hovered arnd 7L per annum, Average was arnd 7.55L and the highest was 11.75L offered by Accenture Consultancy. Its very difficult to comment on the eligibility criteria for laterals cos these are company specific as companies define what is meant by laterals. A relevant work ex of 20 months and above is safely said to be under laterals although 12 months is also taken up by some companies. Some of the comments have been that we try to hide the facts but lukn frm other side we feel tht if anyone is workn hard thn he/she doesnt needs to wry abt the lowest pay package on offer. For freshers, the oppertunities are equally gud in terms of pay packages and profiles being offered except for few companies whch come only for laterals e.g. Accenture consultancy. There is no documented statement to say that whch section is given wht weightage. Some of us have even askd our office and we have been tld tht there is no weightage to any given section . hie varun can u suggest m that iam gettin a score around 60-65 in snap nd i scored 60 in 10 th nd 77 in 12 nd i have done my graduation this yr with 53 perc marks in pol sc do u think would i get a call from siib plz help m out if i don't get a call wat should i do wait for the next yr nd study hard or do some kind of job. IS work ex matters a lot or it is just a additional benefit to ur profile iam really goin through very tough times these days so plz suggest m thanks in advance
kindly can u post the lowest salary for the batch of ib....plus if u go by reputaion siib is still not that reputated..fortune 500 companies do not visit the campus....even indian fortune 500 like ioc..which visits sibm and schmrd ...even sibm and schmrd have companies like jpmorgan , goldman which are missing in siib...kindly throw some light about the consultance firms
Hi... Lowest salary this year- 4.1L Reputation for anythng is based on facts and some stories. I believe u have more stories than facts with u... Yes we dn have companies like Goldman Sachs and Iocl visitin our campus till now bt they may be visting next year. Bt even in their absence, our placements are very gud if not excellent. N goin by the worries u r having since day1 abt the lowest salaries being offered, it shudnt be a prob for u. Various consultancy firms visit pur campus e.g. Accenture, Capgemini, Delloite etc Varun Batch 2006-08

Goin by the merit of the info u have given here all i can say is that u dn have anythn extraordianary to give u any additional adv acadamically. So ur call wil be purely on the basis of ur snap score. I cant say whether u wil or wont get a cal.
If u dn recieve a call get work ex n whn we say work ex it means workn full time. Companies and colleges are shiftn their focus towards ppl with work ex cos thn post recruitment these ppl can be profit generators very quickly unlike the freshers who need to be trained for more time..
