For others, it has to be completed in one sittn... One cant take a break of one year on the pretext of taking care of family business etc and complete a 3 yr degree in 4 yrs... I hope it answers the query Varun
:-(

Does SIIB have sectional cut offs? what can be the possible cut-off for quants section?assuming that paper is of similar difficulty level as last years' what is the fees for the MBA(IB) Programme? I didn't get that info in the website of SIIB. Plz help me.

Hi...
As far as i understand the eligibility statement, No student completing his/her graduation thru Correspondence or part time is outrightly nt eligible... For others, it has to be completed in one sittn... One cant take a break of one year on the pretext of taking care of family business etc and complete a 3 yr degree in 4 yrs...

am i eligible?
Hi...
I believe tht if u have recieved ur degree with ur juniors instead of ur batch thn its not counted as completing ur degree in one sittn. Even though u completed ur degree in nine semesters i presume u were awarded the degee with ur batch mates.
However for everyone's benefit, i wil check with the authorities and post in a couple of days.

There are no sectional cutoffs for SIIB.. Fees for this years program is 4,10,000... This though is subject to change.. I am not sure what it will be for ur batch..
Hi, I bought the prospectus for SIIB using the online payment mode along with SIBM and SCMHRD, quite a while back. 29th . As of now only SIBM's prospectus has reached me. Whom should i contact regarding this? Further I have a doubt regarding the eligibility criteria for SIIB. I graduated In 2005 from my engineering course without any Backlog. however during the course 2001 - 2005 i had to reappear for 2 papers. Microprocessors and Discrete maths which i cleared next time around. Does this mean i am not eligible for the SIIB selection procedure? Thanks in advance, Kohinoor
Hi, Here is a quick querry, Out of SIIB and SCMHRD, which one is better?
Its a very tricky question... every inst. has some distinct advantages... regarding scmhrd.. i cannot comment. but regarding siib, i'll say .. if u want to do an MBA with exposure into international business, then SIIB is the right place.. at siib, u r groomed in all respects... a rigorous curriculum, moral re armamaent camps, xtra curriclar activities, industry interfaces in terms of events like H K Firodia event, Leadership series , RD agha series etc.. its upto u.. u decide "whether u want to do a plain MBA or an MBA with a difference" last bt not the least, Placements here are fabulous.... for more info.. login to Welcome to SIIB u can info our inst. from wikipedia also...
Hello everyone... I would try to explain the one sittn eligibilty clause thru an example
Taking the case of a student who is doin his engineering shud clear all his semesters successfully til the date of submission of documents which is somewhere arnd 30th september
Second scenario is where a student is is taking an year off between his 4th year and the application for siib for clearing his backlogs...In both the cases, he wud be deemed non eligible for admission to SIIB

I completed my bachelors (full time) in june 2005 whereas i was supposed to complete my degree in june 2004. The problem was i got jaundice so had to clear my back logs in the next year.So obviously i didnt clear the exams in one sitting rite.So plz clarify if i should refrain myself from applying to the institute
take the case of a student who clears his/her graduation in 12 semesters.... but attends the college regularly... just somehow not able to complete his/her graduation within the Stipulated time
"I'll get my degree on TIME,no matter how long it takes" student....
a student who sat at home for an year..... for personal reasons....
Options
1) Both are eligible 2) None are eligible 3) 1 student only 4) 2 student only 5) U may clarify indication sub-clauses
This is for my personal clarification and for the junta's benefit
