After calling many times I am not able 2 reach the admission office. I think I have screwed my online registration part, I think i missed that part. I got a mail from SIIB but it came to my bulk mail in Yahoo. So I didnt ckeck it. Please Please someone help me....Is there anything I can do to complete my form.
Sofe of my office mates have the same problrm also. Please look into this.
Hi Nishant,
I'll check ur form status tomorrow and let u know btw u don't need to worry in case u've forgot to fill the online form...ur details wud be taken frm the SNAP database.
Cud u plz guide me on this...what if a lot of toppers have applied for siib also..considering that it is quite a reputed institute...will the cut-offs go up??
i mean do ppl wid snap scores in the 70s stand a chance????
pls reply..thanks in advance:)
hey dude,
The cut-offs obviously depends upon the no. of applications received ...higher is the no.,higher wud be the cut-offs ..and thats why nobody knows for sure what the cut-offs will turn out to be...and as u may be knowing SIIB also gives weightages to ur acads,work-ex etc. other than SNAP score while giving out GD/PI calls....so ur profile also matters.
Going by the last year's trend, ppl with score in 70's and a decent profile have a gud chance of getting short-listed for the next round
Sorry but ur score is quite low to get a call for MBA-IB
Better luck next time
Cheers ! Pradeep
i am selected fr d group process of scmhrd and i have booked my slot for 2nd feb...
now if i gt selected fr siiband i am alloted 2nd feb only fr siib's gd/pi process
dan how will i manage that?????? moreover v can change d slot fr scmhrd till 20th only but d result fr siib will cm out on 22nd.......so v wont be in a position to chnge d slot......
Plz let us know till what ranks SIIB gives calls. Like SCMHRD they say they first select 4000 top students out of which 2000 based on profile are selected. As far as I know a person getting a score of 64 (Open Category) got a call for SCMHRD. This means he has made it in top 4000. If this is to follow cutoffs may be lower than 64. If SIIB gives calls to ranks greater than 4000. I hope I m clear.....
What is your cumulative score after taking into account various parameters as mentioned earlier in this forum (Refer some posts back)? Last time total cut-off score was 76.75 for MBA-IB for open category. I am again mentioning the procedure (originally mentioned by hemdeep) for calculating the total score for MBA-IB as follows: The weightages added to your SNAP scores are as follows :
For graduation performance: Above 80% - 3 marks 70% to 80% - 2 marks 60% to 70% - 1 mark
For fulltime work experience @ 1 mark per year subject to a maximum of 3 marks.
For Educational Background : CA / ICWA - 4 marks Engineers - 3 marks , Electronics / Computers - 2 marks.

@ Jyotika,
To be precise, SCMHRD gave calls to 2500 people after initial shorlisting of 5000 people. These calls were more oriented towards your profile after you make it to top 5000. SIIB also gives weightage to profiles but not as much that you can get shortlisted with a very low SNAP score. As far as I think the total score cut-off (after taking into account the various parameters) will definitely be above 70.

Let me tell you that SCMHRD first selects top 4000 students based on SNAP score. Than out of these they compare the profiles and send calls to top 2500 students. So if ranks greater than 4000 gets calls surely person with a score of 64 should get calls.

Wat about X and XII marks. I think weightage is given to them also.
