I have completed my class 10 and 12 from ICSE and ISC board.Now the board allows one to select best of 5 and best of 4 subjects to calculate the percentages which hav to be taken into consideration for admission to any college at the graduation level.Infact this procedure was followed wen i took admission for my BSc.
Now while mentioning ones percentage in the form wat shud one do.Should he follow the procedure of the board or calculate it for all the subjects....
Thoroughly confused seniors please help

last time the cut off was 76.5 for general category...
for this year's cut off, it will be around this only.. but cannot gurrentee as it depends upon other aspirants' scores as well..

Hi Friends, I have decided to apply to SIIB and have applied online. now do i just need to send the DD for Rs. 1200 to them with my snap id or will i have to buy the prospectus (hard copy ) first and then send the completed application form to SIIB??

This is the screenshot they have provided after online application......

... and if i need to purchase the prospectus then from where????

  1. Please note that appearing for SNAP Test on 16th December 2007 is mandatory.
  2. To complete the admission process- it is mandatory to submit the duly completed Application Form available in the SIIB Prospectus 2008, by 5th January 2008 to SIIB office.
  3. Non submission of Application Form or submission of incorrect data will result in disqualification
  4. Queries for any changes will not be entertained.

Good day sir,This is to introduce myself.I am a merchant navy Nautical officer graduated in Nautical sciences from T.S.Chanakya (New Mumbai).Got selected in this institute by an all India level examination of IITJEE.I am presently working as a chief officer in a Japan based company. Having a total work ex between 5-6yrs.
I had given SNAP examination yesterday and expecting a score of 55.Do i stand a chance to get a call from your reputed institute?

I applied for SNAP test on 26th October, 2007 through Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) for admission to Symbiosis Postgraduate degree programs . At the same time I also ordered for the prospectus of the following institute:SCMHRD SIBM SIIB Altogether I paid Rs.4450 through Credit Card. Although I received the SIBM Prospectus, I havent yet received the SCMHRD and SIIB Prospectus.When I called the above 2 Institutes Admission Office, they told that they have not received any request for my SNAP ID 785112.I believe there has been some mistake.I will request you to kindly look into the matter so that I am able to receive the respective Institutes Prospectus. I wrote the above mail to Snaptest CC to SCMHRD and '[email protected]' but i did'nt get any update as of now.Can nybody from SIIB help me now.This is really getting into my nerves now.

freshers stand a bright chance in SIIB. As mentioned in the prospectus, Work exp. is one of the criteria for selection.It is your total score for whole process which matters........

I have completed enggineering in 2004 and have 3.5 yrs of hardore sales and distribution experiance ... my question is will SIIB be a suitable institute as in will it be able to give me a approx 12 lac p.a job ... in proper marketing/consulting etc ..

Firstly,I wanted 2 know wht will be the expected cut-offs 4 SIIB this year...As i'm from reserved category(S.C) will the cut-offs be different from general category..If yes by how much...

Also wanted 2 know bout the fees & if loan facility is available..

i am expecting a score of 75-85...have got 82 % in my 10th boards and 79 % in 12th...no stand out extra curriculars apart from few prizes in school debates and couple of prizes in badminton. i am doing my engineering in electronics and communication from MANIPAL university.have got a job from "one of the reputed" software and consulting firms.do i stand a chance of getting a call from SIIB.eagerly awaiting your reply.thanks in advance
