Very strong extra curriular activities, also am a drummer in a rock band :-)
Got the first call as a fresher and the second last year, in both cases made it to the final rounds but after that went nowhere... 😞
That's basically it as far as my bckgrnd goes, any particular things you guys wanna ask just shoot, will try to help to the best of my knowledge 😃

got a courier today morning from S P Jain. the letter is the same as the one I received by email. the courier has an attached form specifying your date preferences for interviews.

I got 98.6 percentile. Dint get the call from SPJAIN a few days back when the first list was announced. But got an email yesterday saying that u hav been shortlisted for Finance.....I also got to know that Finance guys dint get the calls in the first list.

I got the mail yesterday, but the website still says that I have not been shortlisted. This is simply too much

We actually heard fin calls were out before this new list....looks like only the paper forms wala were called and this one is for those who filled online...

Nope...still the same problem...I can select the dates, but upon hitting "Submit" it says the page cannot be displayed.

CAT no. is ur 7 digit CAT application number that you gave in ur SPJ application form....same number that u used to get ur CAT scores.....I guess they cancelled all previous confirmations for the benefit of those people who had their intvw dates eneterd by someone else......
try calling them up.....or wait for some more time......maybe they dont have their database with the call getters info(now the CAT number also has to be verified) online yet......

Even I am facing the same problem. It is allowing me to enter the chosen dates. But after clicking the submit button., it is displaying the message HTTP 500 internal server problem
May be due to traffic in net..

Hey catapult, these MBA institutes are erratic in their calls - don't freak out. You are atleast in a better position than I am. My profile: 99.10% overall in CAT, BTech (MME) from IIT Kanpur (2003 batch), 1.5 years work ex in top MNCs (software), grad 7.0/10, Xth - 91%, XIIth - 79% => no IIM calls, no SPJain call as of now. Now you can imagine what I am going through. "So near.........yet so far". By the way, everyone believes he wrote decent essays. It's the perception of the adcom that really matters. I had also put a lot of thought in my essays and all........ and am still waiting...............
Just chill out. Life has more things to offer than calls from premier institutes - and you have it in you dude - you are sure to make it to the top some day. Just believe in yourself.
