SSC CGL Tier 2 | Admit Card, Preparation, Exam

Assistant in CSS gp decreased from 4600 to 4200

SI in cbi increased  from  4200 to 4600

Auditor and tax assistant remain unchanged.

Last 3 pay ccommissions recommended lesser pay scale for Assistant but within a year government upgraded their pay to a higher level. It is expected this time also.

The Finance Ministry today said it can "handle" financial implications of the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission and will work out modalities for implementation of the suggestions.

"There are challenges, we will face that... It's not going to impact this fiscal. By the time it is implemented, it goes into next financial year and our growth prospects are good, our economy is pretty robust, we will handle this," Finance Secretary Ratan Watal told reporters here.

Earlier talking to reporters, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that an Implementation Secretariat, under Expenditure Secretary, will look into the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission.

"Last time when the report was submitted both these exercises took about five and a half months. This time we will endeavour to do take a decision quickly," the Minister said.

saare assistant post ka kam ho gaya ya sirf css ka?

Are koi TA ki y class city me inhand salary count krke bta do...bhla hoga us insan ka..

now the highest salary one will get in SSC CGL posts will be that of CBI SI after being 4600 gp as they get 13 months salary in a year and security allowance of 20% of basic(earlier it was 25% of basic).

summing up all the salary of CBI SI will be more than 60K in hand after implementation of 7th pay.

waah re 7th cpc..

CSS aur baki assistants ka 4200 gp ke hisab se kar diya replacement...now even postal inspector is better than CSS 😛

Will SSC allow change of post preferences this time as well if GoI fully approves 7th CPC as many candidates would want to reshuffle their preferences .

govt will not approve its all recommendations bhai so thinking about is just wasting time..CSS will never degrade to 4200 and cbi never to 4600 (but govt shd increase cbi  gp from 4200 to 4600 considering their hectic nature of job). Due to its hectic nature, candidates prefer css over cbi

According to you, Government will:

  • Accept Pay Commission’s reccomendations as it is
  • give 5-8% hike over the Pay Commission’s reccomendations
  • give 2-4% hike over the Pay Commission’s reccomendations
