hey seniors kindly tell me what can be the expected avg salary in 2008..will it be >5 lacs considering the grwth in the last 2 yrs

Anyways I am having my gd/pi in Delhi and lagta hai aadhi janta vahin milegi. And yessssss i would like to thank all the seniors who really helped us out in clearing our doubts and i hope i too help others similarly next yr. And yes plz note that the names given in the shortlist are not according to ur ranks they are in the descending order of your SNAP id. One more thing I know last year our seniors only faced the interview they never had any gd session but still if you could guide us what all we need to prepare for gd as well as interview it will be great. thanks.

siom gdshortlists are out. there are about 650 candidates. itz going to b very tough I guess. Anyone there who is shortlisted.
1487 sold application forms sold out of which 1235 reached the institute well within time. and the balance 252 have not reached the institute in the stipulated time. and some have been returned due to wrong address. some students who might have thought that this is not a worth school might have not sent the forms.
fresh news is that there will be 3 filters.

2. faculty interview
3. director interview.

i am presently a student of SCMHRD. SCMHRD do offer operation management. I too am student of operation management. I have taken operation as major and marketing minor. Regarding SAP. SCMHRD have tie up with company cal;led AAKIT with teaches SAP in campus. So its true that SAP is being done here. Operation students are exposed to MM module in SAP.
Regarding SIOM its a new institute of Symbiosis for which any student can find about it from their student. I don't want to comment on that except that i would just like to say that SIOM and SCMHRD are realted to each other as SCMHRD is related to SIBM or SIIB or SCIT .. that;'s it.
SCMHRD do have the operation major and its one of the best specialisation in the campus......

please be extremely careful for the gds and interviews. be prepared wiht all the current affairs for gds and know what exactly is operations mangement. and its very important to know about ur work if u have some workex and if u have quoted.

hello Mr Suraj... thanks for posting in this thread. we welcome u on behalf on SIOM. how are ur sessions going on. then regarding the relation between siom and scmhrd its much more than what u have written. in one way scmhrd only gave birth to siom and we owe u a lot. infact we are using ur own infrastructure here but itseems till last year u were 240 but we are now only 60. and we are expecting our juniors in a couple of months.
please think us as juniors and give us suggestions for better operations management. now we are taking 3rd apics module this march. and we have done sap PP and MM for about some 90 hours. and we had the training from growel. just yesterday we finished six sigma from KPMG.
