Hey guys ..a small issue has crept up here....finally got da SIOM form but a chit has been attached sayin dat semester wise marks need to be entered ....n da space given in da form is hardly enuff for dat...so do i need to clip in a page or somethin with da marks...or try to fit in da space given (next to impossible)..has any one else encountered dis..n wat have u dunn...reply fast guys need to get dis this goin by tomm morn!!!!!!!!!!

Plz plz do let us know. Its been over a week or so since i sent my form. Till now they (SIOM) havent sent any notification. This evening I called up at 0253-2376107 to confirm if my application form has reached but it seemed that the person (man) who picked up my call was not even interested to talk anyways plz help us out.

I have a problem in form. There is a column for SIOM stamp. IS this column really for some sort of STAMP by SIOM or its for sticking our photograph?

Another thing , they have not mentioned any interview center in form , that means that interview will be in NASHIK only????
If , no then which are the other center and on what bases they will be alloted to us???

When I asked the panel about the course content and others they said , " SIOM is a sis concern of SCMHRD which was providing Operations Mangement as a part of its specialisation. Here after SCMHRD will NOT offer MOM in its institute instead the student can opt for SIOM. SIOM starting its journey from this year , will have the Nashik Campus as its base from where the SCMHRD will wind up all their activities by the end of this year."
Moreover I heard that SCMHRD doesn't have any teiup with SAP:huh: (as it say so from its website) and doesn't even have the software in its campus
please guys guide me whether to join this inst or not. I'm a software engr with 2 yrs of exp in SAP domain. Will this PGDOM(they call so) be an advantage for my career ?

Iam a student of SCMHRD Operations batch(the one u have referred as MOM) I was the part of the batch which did its first year in Nashik and then we were shifted to Pune. Im the last batch of SCMHRD Nashik. Im in my final sem now. I can assure u that SCMHRD does have MySAP Business Suite. We r trained by professional from M&M; Bristlecone.
SIOM is not a sister concern of SCMHRD and it has got no role to play in it. SCMHRD has its Operations batch even now and it willb there as far as Industry demands the best Operations Managers.
Please get your facts right.

hai everyone in the thread. iam sorry for not being live for the past few days. got to go to chennai for an urgent work. ya just now i have seen lot of queries being posted.
we have very clearly mentioned that SIOM is not related to scmhrd in any way except that they are the seniors for this campus before it actually came to siom. then regarding the companies and placements its our placement policy that we are not supposed to reveal the names. see its the case for all the institutes and if u want u can verify with any institutes. and as siom is core into operations we will defnitely not reveal any companies.

mr sonal gupta ur application form no is given to the admission dept and they will verify and calll u.then regarding the placements, being the 1st batch we are not at all worried about the summers. the starting remuneration for summers is from 8k and some of the companies are also giving the accommodation in places like bombay and delhi. we feel that this might go up next time. and according to us the companies and packages are good. we are getting very good projects relating to operations. but frankly speaking, worrying about summers really doesnt make sense as our decisions might change after doing summers as to go to the same industry or something else. what matters most is the companie's respose to our final placements which is very good. s/w companies will not be able to accomodate summer traines as the time period 10 weeks being very less for them to train and hand over the project and get it done.as i have already told that demand is more and supply is less, we are not worried. what ever we can tell, we have told u all. its up to u to decide as ur going to be the future managers.even if we are not posting the messages, dont think that we are unable to face the questions. its bcos of our schedules, our schedules are going to be even hectic from now as six sigma green belt certification, tpm, and operations in service industry will start in a couple of days. who ever is having doubts u can always clarify with us over phone. reddy..9850795459
