exact cutoffs as i have come to knw from people at SSIB and SCMHRD are
92.5-SIIB
94.5-SCMHRD

thy appear to be the cut offs4freshers as both intis. give profile based calls.

my frnds with SNAP -72 and work-x of 2yrs have finaally got call from SCMHRD.

me being a fresher is waiting for SCMHRD date and venue.

MY SCORE IS 80.25

WELL SOME SENIOR OF SIOM PLEASE TELL US ABOUT THE PLACEMENT SCENARIO OF SIOM !!! I MEAN THE STATS THIS YEAR OR PREVIOUS YEAR ....THE MIN PACKAGE IS WHAT I AM TALKIN ABOUT

SENIOR PLEASE HELP !!!

SIOM IS ONE COSTLY INSTITUTE AND HIGH RETURNS ARE EXPECTED FROM IT !!!

Mr robinhood...
this is the first batch for the institute and so we cant predict about the placements as to what will be the package. as far as we are concerned we are at our summer placements and its going well. we are now being paid more than what we expected months ago.
previous year Oper Mgmt was under scmhrd and the packages were really good for which u can see the scmhrd website.

siom is costly... well it pays in the long run..

i havent seen any thing special in siom as i say what is different in siom- operations and why one should think for this institute, if it is really very costly and even just 60 open seats approved... can some siom guy/gal comment on this..........

~~~~some better options : apply for CET those who are thinking for SIOM but yes keep SIOM as an option those who are not powerful/master in every section ,,,,,,

those who got 50-60 in snap should think for SIOM

60-70 for those who are not confident about other option/ but think for the cost!!!!!
and this is he first batch!!!!!!!!

if you carefully read all that i have written then u can find that i have just raised few points that i have raised for example i havent compared yr collge with any one i have just said that oe should consider fees/2 lac appx per annum,,,,, one should think that a this is the first batch passing out.... as even i want to know whether they have 100% placement?
so please take it positively just as a discussion and please reply your view on this instead of saying me wrong///////

Please go through the thread right from the beginning , hope we have given the good insight to people around here about SIOM. If you still didn't find enough the so called *SPECIAL* thing , then I'm sorry you have dialled the wrong number. This thread is not to hurt anybody but to clarify the doubts that fellow PGmates carry. We are as concerned as others about our PG fellowmates. Trust is the factor that's going around here.

Two Lakh is a big amount agreed , but its worth. To believe it apply for SIOM , join here. As reddy said we don't claim as the No.1 Institute. We aren't in that race at all.

Again SNAP scores are just an entry only with a 99.99 % in CAT it doesn't mean that he is eligible to join there. He/She should prove himself /herself before the panel.

My sincere request to all in the PG , never ever allow the numbers to pay in your life. Numbers shows the position , not your confidence and attitude.

why dont u confirm this with Mrs smitha, who is taking care of the admissions and dispatch, on monday. dont worry , till 31st the dispatch of prospectus will be done. 2 more days.

my request for form will reach by 28th or 30 th for sure.
can i know when form will be dispatched to me and by ordinary post or by courier? coz 10th is the lastdate for form to be submitted.

i'm doing B.Tech in textile chemistry . will it play a role in a call from SIOM or during GD/PI.?
i have a snap score of 79.75 and degree with 67% till date ?

dude...they r sendin it by courier(here it was BLUE DART)...i faced d same prblm...i got it 2day...so check d courier office...or call SIOM office...:satisfie:

Don't worry you will get your form and will be dispatched at the earliest. But please make sure at your end that you will be sending the filled application form by 10 Feb.
