well, just to say thnx to adits_pg, first year students (namisha, bob, tejdhar, everyone who was on d floor assisting us) for all the help. D whole process was cool, esp with d stress relievers. Even d director Dr. Uday Salunkhe seems vry jovial.
Adits can u tell when would d first list be released??...cos d students at the college said tht i would take a minimum of 15 days and no way wud d results b out by may 15.

i second that... tht signature is in poor taste and ITS NOT FUNNY! Its not the big picture but the REAL picture that u got to understand. Rape is never inevitable or pardonable under any circumstances, and offenders and supporters should be stripped and given a lashing till the concerned organs fall off!!

This wait for results is killing me. Any1 got a call or mail from them regarding results. At the Gd centre they took our numbers and said that they will call up to inform us the results.
These ppl at the admission Dept are not picking up the phone either. Must be busy keying our names in I guess!!!

welingkar guys never told that they wuld call people
they said they wuld sms those guys who hav been selected finally

A Li'l Surprising to see that No One's posted the GD/PI Experiences of my Batch.Does that Mean that there were No PagalGuys in my Batch??
Anyways,itz quite late now to post the Experiences,but here goies Nothing....
I was in the 1:45 Batch on 8th.And My My My...The GD (I Doubt if you Could Call That as 'Discussion') was an Absolute Weekend FishMarket Offering Discounted Prices.
We had the Done-To-Death Topic of "Is India Facing Brain Drain?".Interesting Topic but has been Debated since The IT Boom happened.Give us a Break Guys!!!
At the end of the mandatory 1 Minute,The haggling Tried.No.3 Started the Discussion and Was Verbally & Vociferously Supported by No.2 .Oppsoition came from No.10 and Before You could say "welingkar" all of them were up in arms with barely anything Decipherable being said. There was Only One Gal and She was Trying her best to get some Meaningful ponts Across.
Myself,Nos 1,11,12,6 were Vainly Trying to calm the Excited Members.The Oft Repeated Sentences from the "pacifiers" were "Calm Down"/"Let Him Finish"/"One Person at a Time Please" & So On.The "Aggressors"(They) were hell-bent on making it Unruly and Loud.
Altough Some Good Points were said,there never was any Consensus.While Everyone more or less agreed on the fact that Brain Drain Does Exist,There were two Different Schools oF thought.One,that Brain Drain was Detrimental as it was Sucking away all the intellectuals outta the country.Two,if it weren't for those Talented Indians Going Outside,The MNC"s would have never Known the Indian potential and would never have set up Shop here.
If the GD was Nightmarish,the PI was Hell.I am an E & CE ian and for the past few Months I have Crammed my Brain with Quant/DI/LA/SC & the Stuff.Now I find this Telecom-Domain-Expert Guy and he knocks the living daylights outta me with his Zoomers & Bouncers!!!Though I managed to Answer Some,all in all it was a very Unsatisfactory PI.
The Best part was the PT.It was a Walk-in-the-Park & i Finished it in 4 Mins Flat!!
All in all,If it weren't for the GD Debacle & PI mishap,I would have Bragged to all & Sundry to Expect me on the "Welcoming & Organizing" panel at Welingkar Next Year.But As Things Stand Now,I have to Knock the Doors of Welingkar (As Well as Other B-Schools) Next Year Also......
