very unlikely buddy.Better option to work and give the cat again or give cet maharashtra
i think if any one is very desperate to do an mba can join ....you are definitely gona land in c-class job in management where you dont to use any managerial skills.....
IQ of both teachers and crowd is vey bad........that why companies for good profile companies dot consider them
all those with more than 70 can apply......
last year they have called ppl with net score of (90 including gd and interview )in CET
any one can evalute same from there data base.....if you have contact..........
all those with more than 85 please give cat another time and dont apply its not worth it............

Hi Siddhartha, can you tell me if Welingkar considers sectional cutoffs or overall scores? I've a net of 77%tile only with attempts only in VA.
i dont think they even know what is sectional cutt off......you ll get cal.......

i would need some more info about Welingkars.
I have read a lot about it, and i have been recieving contradicting replies,
its not helping at all.
i would have GD & PI in the coming few months.
which college i should opt for and also that I am a mumbaikar.
Moreover would i be considered at KJS for a call?
to add to my misery i am a freshier, infact i am pursuing final year currently.
i would need inputs from all of you who read this thread, waiting for replies

first of all even i've given cat juss like u.i'm no xpert on this stuff.i got 95 percentile overall 
....even i've applied to kj som n welingkars.frm wat others hav told me...u stand a gr8 chance for both calls.welingkars most probably u should get....bout kj..they usually call freshers @ 87 percentile +..so even dere u stand a chance.and as far as welingkars vs kj....i'd say go for w'kars cause ppl expect them to beat kj in 2-3 yrs.and avg placement has been about 4.6 lacs dis yr...
also...w'kars will NOT look into ur sectionals ...dey have ppl wid 95 overall but 20 percentile in 1 section also...so get ready for call dude....prepapre for gd/pi now.kj som too...

im sailing in the same ship. i got a measly 82 percentile in cat 2005. my academic record:
10th- 83%
12th- 82%
tybcom- 81%
howeve no work exp. dunno if its worth applyin to wellingkar or somaiya.
apart from applying, i've heard that wellingkars gives a call to anyone above a 70 percentile, who's applied.but ultimately, people with my range of percentile get thru only if they are willing to pay. so wats the point applying when we know that no merit consideration is happenening..
shd i still apply and if i do, then to which of these instit?
some serious feedback expected guys..cos the due date is near by..

i'm no xpert.even i juss gave cat.got 95 %tile...but frmw at i've heard...welingkars...u mite get call...good chances.they stopped callin everyone last yr.dey had cut off last yr...i think.....but kj som looks difficult.also.. i agree dere's back door entry (some) @ welingkars...but dere r 120 seats so u stand a decent chance.at least apply..who knowz..u mite juss make it.
