hi ppl
till last yr u had the option of ticking fr the banglore campus in the same form
plz check out if this option is there in this yr's form
and abt the campus its very gud not as big as mumbai campus bt it is at par with mumbai campus we have equally gud faculty there and infact all most all the teachers fly frm mumbai to banglore to give lectures.
as far as their placement goes they too have placement council there and they cum to mumbai campus fr their placement week which is the placement week fr the whole campus given equal opportunity of placement in best of the companies at the campus
and trust me there is no difference in the CAT percentile there also it wud be near to 75 or 80 there as well
its ur choice whether u want to take in mumbai or banglore campus
but if u have marked in the form that u want either of the campus and u are given banglore campus thn its nt possible to change (as far as i knw)
okie take a wise decision
and hurry up guys fill up the forms

also d online application form asks for d 6 didgit application form no; and NOT d cat registration number.i've filled KJ Som and imdr...but both asked for d cat registration number which is 7 digit.
so could neone pls ...throw ne lite on dis?

dere's no relation b'twn dat person not appearin for qa...and d backdoor entry....welingkars hav said in their official faq dat dere r no sectionals ..only overall score is considered...so in dat case a gud overall percentile is wat is basically reqd...i've myself got 95%tile in cat dis yr..with only 29%tile in qa....so does dat mean i'm gona get in thro backdoor too?
also..pls refer mukta's own mail...(i dun rem d post number...but its on pg 37..i think)...she herself had smashing percentiles in qa and di..but a miserable score in va...still she got in officially....
i agree dat dere is SOME backdoor entry...but its not dat much..otherwise d avg salary offered wouldnt hav been as high as 5 lacs p.a...as d recruiters would know dat too.

let me repeat my percentiles which i got in last yr CAT
DI-99, Quant- 98, and VA -19.99
i am thru front door and the frnd of mine abt whom i refered in the mail he is also there thru front door with gud percentiles in 2 sections and only 12 percentile in the quant section
i have always mentioned to u ppl that there is overall percentile consideration and also ur academics, work ex, how u perform in ur gd pi and the pysco test and and also on form filling
guys i request those who dont want to take addmission in welingkar shuldnt spoil the name and reputation of welingkar
and if u are so gr8 tht u can get thru big institutes thn wht are u doing in this thread better go to the other threads where u might be able to do this kind of stuff better
