In my opinion IMS is a good one to chose amongst the lot as their papers are not unrealistically tough....Verbal as commented above my a fellow puy is always good...QA is also of good teasing standard. DI ..in my opinion is also good standard if not TIME-AIMCAT standard. Afterall you obviously will choose the easier sets to build your confidence and then proceed to the tough nuts..(may be because I dont find DI that interesting and easy, VA and RC being my strength)...
CL on the other hand is also a very good option. They are very professional in their approach...Maths is of really good quality.
PT never really bothered to know
BUT YEah.....do join more than 1 test series...2 test series will be good enough to see the variations and the surprise factor which can be present in the actual CAT

JOIN TIME..
u will be judged among a larger pool of student than any other test series....questions are of a good level as compared to others...especially di/lr...and money is almost same..
i have given ims simcats last year...and giving time's aimcat this year..so can clearly tell the difference....

ims is much more closer to cat real paper than any other test series
some have other opinion they want to test for difficult quest thn for that you already have cl paper
whereas ims is a bit easier compared to time or cl

If you are already with CL then I would suggest IMS..as CL and TIME are quite similar, as of what I have heard & IMS would be more CAT Types !

I had joined both AIMCATs and CL Prock Mock last year and found both of them very helpful for my prepration. The TIME test series gives you a really hard time but it has some gem of questions especially in DI which will really build up your skills. Even if you are not able to solve it during the test you can always refer the solution later and the mere experience would help you a lot. Also never get demoraluzed by your results just work hard to find out where you went wrong.
As far as CL procks are concerned it really prepared me for solving average level difficulty questions with speed and helped me to do well in exams like IIFT,JMET and SNAP,also CL comes out with really good schemes around end of September.
As the test series has now become online you can take advantages of both....IMS I have never given so wudnt comment on that

1) a b tech fresher goin for mba directly after the degree
2) a b tech guy workin 2 yrs in an IT organisation and then going for an mba..?
I hve got an offer from an IT Firm but the emoluments aren't that attractive.
shud I go wid it or prepare for '10 xam season

There is no hard and fast rule to this.All B-schools have experienced and fresher ppl still if you are nt interested in IT then doing MBA as a fresher is more logical.All depends the kind of B-school u end up getting .

Only 2 proc mocks have taken place,still 7 more are left.Apart from it there are 18 unproc mocks.So its not too late yet but get enrolled soon as slot booking for Proc Mock 3 has started.
