A: As far as i've heard he is a MTech in Comp Sci from IITK and then went on to do a MBA from IIMA. I'll Check it out Though .

A: Its in doing things differently sir (too cliched , but nothing came 2 my mind) . Many ppl do the same thing sir, but i believe I can do it more efficiently and thats what counts.
p3 (seems satisfied): So why dont u start a company..Many 25 yr olds have done.
A: For that matter some 17yr old like Ankit fadia also have sir, but the baseline is I want to get a hold of business processes, strategies and how companies go about their affairs rather than jumping into the water right away. Morever those young entrepreurs (Indians) who have started have some kind of assistance in terms of family businesses or relations hence the financing and knowledge.
p3: So if i finance u today and ask u to start a business..Will you ?
A: Firstly, That'd be very kind of you. And secondly finance is not the only thing reqd. Acumen and experience(somewhat) count too.

My negatives : I'd very less eye contact sometimes, and 2 of the members where from the HR dept. Wasnt able to frame the matter well at times..
Interview lasted for 10 mins MAX...and the panel was cool as u ppl wud've made it out...None of the interviews i've heard have been stress ones.
Someone had said it was ones own decision to post or not to post...I fully agree to such a statement. In a democracy one has such discretionary powers..what we ppl can do is post what the questions asked to other members in thr group or the group before to help our eager friends who are next in the line...I remember even I was eager but wasnt able to find any experiences, So here's a list of questions ..BOL peepz..
A electrical guy (fresher) : acads majorly...something about losses of transmission and related q's ONLY..probability thory and Bayes theorem...
A Civil engg : some acads. diff b/w national and state highways and related discussion on their architecture..(god save him)
A banker : About workex.. intricacies of the operations, finacial statements and something on his JAPAN visit..
Other questions :
to a girl whose response they loved : Howdy create darkness outta electricity?
She answered about a pessimist being in a room...(something like that)
to IT peepz : General questions about IT and smart devices..no questions on core OS NEtworking etc..some questions on shareware, firmware, freeware, viruses, trojans, biometrics, nanotechnology.just go thru what they are....

hey frens!!....well i had my GD PI for ximb on the 8th of march at indian social instt delhi..in the afti!!.....was cool...since i am fm eco backgrnd ...they questioned me totally on acads!!..we were 9 of us in the GD....topic was very general.."women"..since it ws women's day!!....i had the PI for arnd 18 mins..n the GD was again for almostt he same duration..say 15 mins!!....
in the intervw they grilled me totally in the area wherein i said um nt comfortable!!!...the girl immediately after me had a total stress 1....

XAT %ile-97.04, Orissa domicile, BCOM from Osmania uni, hyd.
First GD topic was: There are two kinds of people.
All of us spoke, very cool GD.
Then came the PI and I think they had a great time grilling me!
P1) Ok so u graduated in 2004.What have u been doing since then?
Me: maam I was looking for some jobs, but then I decided not to take it and came back home for preparation of these exams.
P1) so dont u think u have wasted one yr of ur life?
Me: no maam I think nothing is a waste in life, it ultimately depends on what we want to do. No point in doing something if u dont have ur heart in it.
P1)ok..(looks at my profile, marks etc,10th : 83%, 12th: 81 % , bcom: 80% )
P1) what did u do apart from studies in college.
Me: maam I was in AIESEC in first yr. I. tell her wht it is.
P1) what are your hobbies?( here starts my roller coaster ride)
Me: Gardening
P1) ok what flowers r blooming now.

Me: fixed assets(now this was slip of tongue) less current liabilities.

Me: oh sir no no I mean total assets less current liab.

Me: yes sir.. its the same as total share capital, debentures, long term loans etc..thats the total capital employed.
P3) ok..then wht?
Me: sir then we take the profit(avg profits of past 3-4 yrs) as a % of this capital,..sand then multiply with no. of yrs as agreed.
P3) ok, what is venture capital?
Me: capital invested in risky and new business propositions.
P3) what risky and new? huh?
ME: sir something new which is risky
P3) like?
Me: like a few years back it could be software.
P3) software r u sure?
ME: yeah sir I m saying few years back when new companies were established
P1) and what would be now?
Me: (duh nothing comes to mind mind, think of nanaotech and stuff but played it safe coz I dont know much abt it) sir something new. different..

sorry...i could not post earlier even if i did wanted to post.......i was entirely busy....the last dfays..ihad to give my final year seminar on the 8th...((((had gd/pi on 7th)))...morever i went to my home town to visit my grandparents..where i had not went for the last 6 months becoz of these cat,xat whatever..so plz everone forgive me..

gd topic ..men doesn't need only bread to live...
couldn't speak totally

I was just wondering the diversity of experiences that we brought to that small meet ...just imagine the quality of diversity in a class of 120!
I second the idea about PG meets...
although Mumbai PG guys do meet up and volunteer some quality time at NASEOH,Chembur ...but I am more of a regular irregular there....:huh:
Maybe some of us oughtta find something worth contributing on the "western railways" line too....

Me: yes sir.. its the same as total share capital, debentures, long term loans etc..thats the total capital employed.

Me: sir then we take the profit(avg profits of past 3-4 yrs) as a % of this capital,..sand then multiply with no. of yrs as agreed.
P3) ok, what is venture capital?
Me: capital invested in risky and new business propositions.

Me: maam its done after the rainy season, and yeah after pruning it requires lots of water, we have to take care that offshoots should be cut away..so it doesnt take energy of the plant..
P3) no something else.
ME: yeah thats it maam.we have to take care of pesticides, fertilizers etc.
P3) ok never mind(dunno wht she had in mind..) have u ever done pruning?
Me: No maam..but yes recently I had just done lil pruning after the flowering season..
P3) and how do u multiply rose plants?
Me: we have to cut the stem and apply some hormones ( I dont know wht kinda hormones), and put it in the mud.
P3) and the plant will grow?
Me: yes maam..
P3) are u sure?
Me: hm..yes maam..it should grow.
P2) ok so tell me is it possible to have different colours of roses from a single rose plant?
Me: I dont know sir, may be its possible with stem grafting.

nope they knew everyting very well..esp gardening part and it so happened that i answered some of them wrong( multpying rose plant,beans etc..).... thanks to my gardner

You can fool around ppl very well and i feel probably they did same...
as u say they knew alot...i still feel it was their confidence which made u feel this...
neways at end doesnt matter they knew or not matters is results i wish u make thru it...
