I have scored 87.01 percentile is XAT 2011 and have 2 yrs of Job ex in a consultancy. I have applied for PGDM Finance. How are the placements of finance is XISS ?
can any1 plz tell at wat %ile in mat BIMM pune take admission in hr??

Placements scenario of finance is very bad. Very few students got placed. XISS is good for Rural management and personnel management. Finance is not good here. You also have the option of XIME. So give more preference to XIME. Keep finance of XISS as last option. All the best buddy.

I think it is the wrong place to ask 😁 check their thread. One of the post from BIMM thread is as follow
no fixed %ile for cat mat. your cat mat score will be added with gdpi score and final merit list will be made.
but to be on the safer side try to get 70+ in cat and 90+ in mat..
In my form i have seleceted finance can i change it by any means to personal management ?

The highest package has been offered 10.86 lacs by BPCL, (please refer to my previous post again)..
Till date, 54/56 of our seniors are placed. UNICEF visited the campus on 13th of this month. HPCL expected to come for summers..Its the 2nd phase of our placement season
Regarding concluding about XISS and how good the college is, i thought its better to take backseat. I understand that the aspirant this year possess better aptitude, analytical skills,intelligence quotient, knowledge base and very trustworthy & secret-sources with true information. So, i will go with whatever you guys say...I AM WITH YOU..

Yaar aap to naraaz hi ho gaye.... I asked about placements kyunki RedVitriol told in his posts that the exact scenario will be told only after mid of feb. Tabhi to I asked about placements, I read few of your posts regarding placements. But those posts are little bit old. No offence.
I respect this college and you can see this from my posts. Aur placements se muje farak b nahi padta kyunki I will get the good placement. I asked just for the other aspirants.
Just give the clear picture of different packages after placements season gets over. Thanks senior.

even i m having this querry...
but i think u can ask them by email giving ur DD no.....i guess...
anyways GD/PI list is going to be out tomorrow (a/c to their wbsite),u can c ur name in the list if ur form has been received by them (i m assuming tht u have cleared tht cutoff percentile).....

i missed XIMB call by a whisker....but i will be praying tht our gd/pi must not be on the same day...otherwise i will be completely subdued by u......

One of my cousins is a graduate of this college and he is presently at a very respectable position in a very big MNC and has traveled more or less the entire US and Asian continental region

i think gd/pi conversion would be very difficult as no of seats is 20 and contestant over thousand.....

Well, i would say both...
See, there is an equal chance of you getting either of them..
In current affairs, the topics are like the hottest going around, i.e. to say that it is impossible that you are unaware of what the topic is all about..They are the most common topics...
In abstract, my topic was vada pao vs Mac Donald...
One sincere suggestion, the GD is primarily to check your communication, confidence and to an extent a degree of assertiveness in your statement. period...So,even if the topic is inscrutable for you, just go ahead like you are the only one who is aware about it;);):)
But the toughest nut to crack is PI, believe me..

No mate, it was like, 20 seats and around 680 called up..
So that makes it 34:1,for admission through merit;)....
